We are a family run restaurant happily serving authentic tacos, burritos, Mexican and Cuban sandwiches and specials. We offer *real* fresh made margaritas, Mexican and local beers, and homemade limeade. Stop by and see us! We are open nights Wednesday-​Saturday beginning Wednesday, December 9th (2015)

History

Established in 2014.

Our family has spent a lot of time travelling in Latin America and love the food there. We opened Poco downtown May 2014. We briefly closed downtown in the summer of 2015 in order to get our food cart at Elevation Beer Co. established. In October 2015, we re-​opened downtown — yay!

Loving this place! We had a great dinner here last night. Warm chips, fresh guac and salsa, great outdoor seating, and terrific burritos. Yum! The staff was great too. We will be back!

There is a reason why it has the most reviews. THEY LISTEN. I arrived famished and vegan… I am totally going to mess up this names but Deek? Took my order and I did complement the cook but forgot his name. I asked them to make me a bean burrito no cheese (or sour cream), light on the beans, tons of onion and peppers and tomato. And I ordered 3 nice size bowls of salsa (I told you I was famished).
It was so delicious!

This food is good. Its a little heavy on the cilantro for my taste but I don’t mind picking it off. I came here for Cinco De Mayo, and they had a great special or Margs! They also have amazing horchatta and rumchatta. The extra seating that they’ve added is super great. I cant wait to go back.

Pocos is the best kept secret in town. Incredible, authentic tacos and burritos, plate specials and micro brews on tap. Today I ordered the special. brisket burrito. Their homemade sauces are superb!

Small taco stand with mostly counter space but good atmosphere. Was little worried that we would end up with some gringo-​hippie take on tacos but rather had a fresh and tasty meal. There were several homemade salsas to choose from (the habanero was truly spicy). The limeade was fresh made while we waited and not too sweet. We had the veggie tacos and burrito both of which had creative ingredients. Looks like they have beer and margaritas so it could be a fun casual date place. Definitely a find for Salida.

The BEST Mexican in Salida by a very long shot. Authentic flavors, fresh ingredients. Working my way through the menu and haven’t had anything that wasn’t amazing. My faves so far: carnitas torta and veggie burrito. Small space with a funky atmosphere. You will not be disappointed.

Their Baja style taco are the absolute best in CO! And get a bean/​cheese burito with the Adovada avocado sauce on it to go… you’ll thank me later. Anytime we go ski Monarch, we stop here on the way home to Florissant (2.5 hours). In fact, last year, after I completely blew out my ACL and my MCL, I made my husband stop to get tacos/​burritos on the way home. I stayed on the truck with my leg propped up but basically what I’m saying is that wild dogs couldn’t keep me away, much less a broken swollen leg!

Oh I’m so glad you are back… I’d heard how fantastic your food was but you departed b4 I could make it back to Salida to give it a try. We had lunch and the steak & shrimp tacos were over the top delicious! I know it’s tuff to ruin Beans N’ Rice but yours was cooked to perfection. The home made salsas are truly the BEST I’ve ever tasted. You should sell the stuff & have another whole successful gig going! Being a bred & born Virginia girl I really appreciated your fresh brewed AND sweet tea! It was all in all a big 5 for POCO!

Stopped in for a beer at Elevation brewing and they had a food truck/​trailer in patio for grub. We decided to give a it try. Wife or their nachos and I ordered a couple tacos. The tacos were $ 2.50 or $ 3 each and were literally two bite tacos. Super small and rather sparse for filling. Granted they were tastey but the value is not there for me. Nachos were good but somewhat bland for our taste. I don’t think they had any cheese either. Food was good was good but short on filling for he price.

I don’t know why anyone gave this place higher than two stars and I am being generous at that. I had the nachos and they were bland. I tried a bite of the carne asada burrito and it was bland. Everything tasted like pinto beans.
There are only three tables in the place, so be prepared to take your food to go.

WHOA these tacos are good. This place has some excellent food and drinks. The tacos are in the top 5 best I’ve had in Colorado. Will eat here again.
On a side note, the tables in this place are awful. The chairs are not movable. But the food is so good that it doesn’t bother me.
