My favorite place to rent skis! The rentals are so unbelievably cheap here and the service is great. Everyone is really friendly and helpful. I try to stop in here anytime I’m skiing in the area, it’s worth going a little out of your way for how much you’ll save on your rentals. We’ve stopped in every time we ski Monarch and also when we’re passing through to Telluride. The staff is fantastic!

Mount Shavano ski rental is THE place for downhill equipment in the Monarch area.
The first time I dealt with them 10 years ago, we were on a spur of the moment ski trip. My friend had no equipment with her, and the good folks at Mt Shavano hooked her up with ski pants, a jacket, gloves, and a ski package at an incredibly reasonable price.
The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and actually use the equipment they rent. Their advanced and demo packages are great.
If you’re skiing or boarding in the Monarch area, this is the place!

The best place to rent skis in all of colorado when you consider service and price as your criteria. We have been renting here two decades and have never seen another place have better service and prices.
The service is professional and incredibly helpful. They are adults and not some snotty nosed ski punk. These guys will spend time with you to make sure u get the right skis. I could on and on.
The price is right.
The selection is small. The place is small. But, the service and price makes up for that.
