This place use to be okay. There’s a new cook who treats the servers mean and does a poor job with preparation. This is unfortunately my last visit here.

Pretty decent food. I like that they have vegetarian options. I’ve tried a few of their tofu dishes and they’re pretty good! My only complaint is that is a little plain. However, the Thai iced tea is very good!

On a recommendation from the in-laws, the whole family dropped in one evening for dinner. Friendly service, great food, pretty quick from order to table. I had the chance to sample about 5 different meals since everyone had ordered random things and not a bad bite was had. Will definitely be hitting this place up again at some point.

Yummy bowl did not exceed my expectations. I downloaded this app just to tell you how much trash it is. Food takes way to freaking long and the proportions are as big as the dump I took for days afterwards. I will pay you money no to to eat at this establishment. I didn’t even get my picture on the wall you jerks. Sorry not sorry I wrecked your toilet. if I was to open a fortune cookie it would say… yummy bowl… really you can do better.

I am disappointed in this restaurant. This was my first time going and I don’t think I will come back. The service is extremely slow. From the time we ordered it took an hour before we got our food. I came with my SO and they delivered her food well before delivering mine, only to mess up the order. For the price of the food I would expect better, but the orange chicken was mediocre at best and the fried rice was dry and not inspiring. It seems there may be problems in the kitchen because we were not the only ones waiting on food and it almost seemed like they cooked each order’s dish individually. They even delivered the food without the salad because they ran out. And they didn’t even let us know before hand or to try and substitute it for us. We even had to get our own silver wear as it wasn’t brought out with the food. I highly recommend you take your money somewhere else that deserves it more.

lots of people have spoken to really love this place. I say its just OK and the sauces are way too sugary. to each their own.

Once again, great food. but, just wish the portion size for teriyaki was not the portion of a half order at live love which is also great yakisoba!

I can’t get enough of their honey chicken! I have had General Tso’s chicken and the crispy salt and pepper chicken too, those were decent but the honey chicken cannot be beat.

Didn’t love the teriaki. But I really liked the general tso and seasame a lot. For teriaki, I’ll stick with Love Love as my standard. But this place will be my new take out Chinese spot.

They took 20 minutes to make Teriyaki Chicken. Too long had to get my money back and leave or I wouldn’t have had time to eat! How ridiculous!

We love Yummy Bowl primarily because of the friendly staff! We don’t go often, but are always greeted like regulars, which is pretty cool. We always get the beef yakisoba, but have found that when we do, one of us tends to get all(or most of) the meat and veggies, and the other is left with mostly noodles. Gyoza are also one of my staple appetizers, but am always disappointed with them here. They seem dry and crunchy, not in a good way. Whenever we branch out and try different entrees, we are never disappointed. Lots of food for a good price, one of our favorite teriyaki places in Salem!

My boyfriend and I decided to check out this place and we were not disappointed! My boyfriend is gluten free and it is often hard to find places that we can both enjoy equally! They don’t cook with msg and had many gluten free items on their menu, my only suggestion would be to mark the gluten free options so others will know and not have to ask! The service was prompt and the helpings were heaping! The salad was delightful, dressed well with delicious cucumbers! I’m a lover of cucumbers, so the thick cut didn’t bother me! Some people may find a half inch cut cucumber slice a little overbearing for a small salad though. Our bowls were delightfully flavored and well priced! The only thing I didn’t enjoy was my thai iced tea — I love thai and iced tea… This just didn’t work for me, strange aftertaste. All in all it was delightful and we will be returning!

Get the Crispy Salted Pepper Chicken(#9) with fried rice. Not only do they have the absolute BEST fried rice in the Universe, but combine that with the #9 and you have something magical. I still miss the bowl bombs, but nothing on the menu disappoints.

Clean & fast. For the food it’s okay, not sure why so many 4 – 5 star reviews. The search continues for outstanding teriyaki.

A favorite of ours. Not only do we enjoy Yummy Bowl due to its proximity to home, but for the flavorful bowls that they make. It’s so good! The sauces are what makes this place for us. It isn’t like some other places where it tastes like the same sauce only with peppers or a sweet version of the same sauce. Their sauces are made fresh and you can taste the ingredients blended together to bring a dish full of robust flavor and harmony that will make your mouth want to sing if it weren’t too busy chewing the great food. Ordered for lunch today(Honey Bowl) and it was great as usual. I had a very small wait and the guys were nice in spite of me making arrangements on the cell with my brother. I hate the parking lot here and I know that isn’t their fault but that’s part of the appeal of the location and that is part of the review. :( All in all, great food, great staff, great atmosphere yet crappy parking! Four stars.

We are fortunate enough to live within walking distance of this restaurant. With two kids, finding somewhere that is close, agreeable by all, and friendly on my wallet is becoming more of a must. The food is always fresh and delicious. More importantly, my kids will eat all of their orders without any bargaining– pretty good for a 7&10 yr old. Staff is very friendly and accommodating– and like others have said before me, the manager/owner/younger guy remembers us and our«usual» order. That’s pretty great service considering what I’m accustomed to. Yummy Bowl is the perfect quick, affordable Thursday night dinner for the fam

Went there today on a whim because I was hungry… The dining area was a little sparse and awkward, but very clean and well-kept. The server was super nice, and the food was delicious. Had lunch and was completely full and brought leftovers home for my boyfriend. One of the cooks was eating Mexican takeout with his(girlfriend)? and some general tso chicken she had ordered. But I thought it was adorable.

1st visit to this new place. We were greeted by a very enthusiastic girl behind the counter. Ordered a oriental side salad which was very flavorful. 2nd order was a combo chicken & steak teriyaki. The meat was moist and rice not dry. Will come back again.

My husband and I have been here several times now and we always enjoy our food and the service. My favorite so far is the orange chicken, we get an order almost every time. We’ve also enjoyed the teriyaki, salt and pepper tofu, schezwan chicken among others. The dinner size portions are huge in my opinion. Makes for a great lunch the next day :) Service when eating in is exceptional. Everyone is very friendly and food is delivered quick. A man that works there(I’m not sure if he’s the owner/manager or not) always asks us how we are and even recognizes us on return visits. It’s a treat these days to encounter such friendly staff. If you are looking for a tasty, quick, and affordable meal check this place out!

Yummy Bowl opened recently where Momiji sushi used to be(between Subway and the pizza place). I’ve eaten here twice; I’ve tried the chicken rice bowl and the crispy tofu rice bowl. Quality of the food is pretty average, ambiance is spartan but clean and bright, and service is friendly and fast. The amount of food is a smidge less than typical for what you get at this kind of place. Given the quality and quantity, the prices seem a tad high: I paid $ 8.50 for a rice bowl + miso soup + a small fountain drink. The rice bowls consist of the meat/tofu, plus a couple of forkfuls of sauteed veggies(heavy on the green onions), a lot of white rice, and a small green salad with sesame dressing(on the same plate, sometimes right on top of the other food). Flavors are simple and there’s not too much sauce(that’s good). Flavors and seasoning are a bit on the sparse side(not as good). The fried tofu was crispy, but the chicken I thought was a teensy bit on the undercooked side(it wasn’t pink inside, but it wasn’t browned much either, leaving it kind of flavorless and ultra-tender).
