The Historical inaccuracies, is the drama of this group. If it flows theatrically, and is attention grabbing, the actual history is forgotten, for the benefit of trade and commerce.
I live in a Historic section of Salem, Massachusetts, just down the street from where two grandparents, my dad, and brother were born. I asked this tour operator to please be respectful of the residential neighbors nearby, because his tour was continuing at 9:15, was echoing off residential structures. The response from competitors is to accommodate the concerns of nearby children, elders, and disabled persons in the neighborhood, yet instead the guide attempted to turn his tour against me for making the request.
One member approached me with a simple assault, and another member held him back from striking me. My service animal’s leash was cut by another member of the crowd (tour), and as the tour was directed over private property, I asked the trespassers to please move to public property and the 25 foot wide walkway was blocked by the tour group.
The tour director called me a «crazy old man», and made other slanderous statements about me, attempting to set additional anti-​social behavior against me and my service animal. This is the perfect tour for those who don’t care about historical accuracy, and safety.
