I provide individual, couples, and pre-​marital therapy services in Salem, OR. I have a warm, empathetic, and sometimes humorous manner which helps me to connect easily with clients. I approach the process of therapy from a systemic perspective, understanding that we are all part of different systems, from our family, to our work, to our close relationships. I also value the important role emotions play in helping us to identify and solve problems, access feelings, and reconnect in relationships. With this perspective, I utilize a variety of therapeutic tools and techniques depending on the client and their particular situation.

History

Established in 2009.

With a background in family studies, a special knack for listening, and a heart for serving others, I entered graduate school with the dream of opening my own practice; one where all people would feel welcome and could come seeking help and hope. I strive to provide a safe & welcoming environment for a diverse clientele.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Gerontology from Oregon State University, and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University.

In addition to my private practice, I teach part-​time in both the Graduate Department of Counseling and the Department of Professional Studies at George Fox University.
