Starbucks

This is the cool Starbucks. I live in Peabody so it’s not always the most convenient but it’s my favorite Starbuck’s. It’s so relaxed. I like seeing employees that don’t all look like white upper class hipsters (Hello, North Beverly Starbuck’s). Salem is an eclectic place and this is no exception. They are super fast and nice. The only thing I wish was that it was bigger with more tables. With a child, I’m not exactly getting to hang out there everyday like I did in college but it’s not always easy to find a seat.

As a frequent Starbucks drinker this is the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Understaffed for the busy season in Salem. While my drink was spot on it had syrup and chocolate on the side and was not cleaned off. The thing that was most annoying is they had one, one person bathroom and there was a line. All of a sudden a staff member decides to cut in front of the entire line to clean the bathroom; and he took forever. So here all 6 of us stand needing to use the bathroom and he’s taking his sweet time cleaning it.

The service is great two thumbs up for the coffee, always consistent always fresh always very comfortable seats come on in and enjoy yourself

Nice Starbucks in a great location. Within walking distance from the Salem Inn. Plenty of parking.

My favorite Starbucks to go to. The staff is always friendly and in good spirits even during the busy hours, the displays and seating areas are always clean and organized, and they make orders very fast here. I also like this location in particular because of how much seating it has available which is always nice if I decide to stay there for a while. Out of all the Starbucks I have been to so far in Massachusetts this takes the title as best one in the area

This is right near where I work which makes it very convenient and inviting. Also the staff are amazingly nice! They always get my order right! It is a very clean place that is never wicked crowded. I will go here for my tea fix every day!

Coming from Boston, I was rather impressed with this Starbucks.
Now, I know, this is a chain coffee shop, but hey, each location has their own distinct feeling and vibe. Some (such as Boylston & Berkeley) are extremely busy and fast food feeling where others (Harvard Yard, Kendall Square) feel more community coffee house. Whatever, go with me here.
Despite the semi-​awkward location (feels like a strip mall rather far from downtown, I think?) the inside is cozy and comfortable. The bathrooms are super clean (well, I went in once the barista finished cleaning, so it ought to have been) and the ambiance was great.
I ordered a green tea latte with peppermint (for you ex/​current-​Starbuckers out there, it’s good, trust me, try it!) and it wasn’t awful. I would have liked some extra foam, but hey, what can you do? It’s a chain, have low expectations and you’re golden to go.
