When I think of 7 Eleven I think of bad coffee, and lottery tickets. I have not really seen anything special about the place or any reason to choose it over another mini mart. That was until today. I had driven over 40 minutes to try and buy a prepaid card that only 7 Eleven has. I had already stopped at the one in McMinnville and that store deserves one star for their customer service skills. These two stores are complete opposites on how to treat a customer. The manager here in Salem went beyond what was expected of him when the card I was trying to purchase wouldn’t go through. He called the company and was on the phone with them at least thirty minutes trying to help me get the card I needed. At the end the company still couldn’t get the cards to work. He was super nice about the situation and even offered to keep trying. I wish more people were like him. They could take some lessons in how to treat people. If I could give his store more stars I would.

It’s a standard 7/11, the employees are nice and the store is well kept. They had everything for the guy on the go but the prices are a little higher for convenience. They also have a Red Box. Only the problem is the parking lot is shared with a pizza place. The lot get full fast.
