Troy repaired my «Goodwill» bike quickly and fairly priced. I’m amazed at the honesty, courtesy, and tips these guys provide. Thank you so much, Santiam Bicycle. We will be back when it is time to upgrade our kids’ bikes!

I went into Santiam with absolutely no clue what I was doing. I have about as much knowledge of bicycles as my boyfriend knows about Pretty Pretty Dress Up Board Game. At least, I hope. In any case, Jess helped me find a great bike within my budget and explained everything I needed to know without being condescending or making me feel stupid. The most important thing any professional in any industry can do is use qualifying questions to narrow down the merchandise. Jess asked great questions and used my criteria to direct me around the store, all the while explaining what he was doing and why. He was sympathetic to my budget but also explained the long term value in spending a little extra to get a feature that would be worth the money. All things considered, I was still looking at a value bike – something under $ 500. To bicycle enthusiasts or people tht ride all the time, that is a pittance. Trust me, there were plenty of those people in the store who dropped thousands in front of my eyes for SERIOUS hardware. But Jess, and the rest of the staff, never made me feel like my purchase was inferior in comparison. I was able to test ride several of the bikes until I found one that fit all my needs. I’m am looking forward to MANY a bike ride and I feel very happy with my purchase and the service I received.

My son is a starving student who rides his bike over eight miles a day to and from school. He’s always popping in to Santiam with questions. They are amazingly helpful, patient and friendly there. The guys there have helped with repairs and let him borrow a quick tool without charging him a cent for it. They know what they are doing since the great service brings us there every time if when we need to purchase anything bike related.

This is Salems only bike shop people should go to. They make appointments to get your bike worked on. They say when they will be done with a phone call. The staff is very trusting. Think about it you are trusting them with the two wheels that you ride on. Graham is the best, along with all the other wonderful staff. Check out the web site. You can learn how and why you should only shop at this store if you are any kind of bike rider. They are in the heart of downtown and so nice!

I have recieved fantastic customer service here on three out of four trips to this shop. Great knowledge of mountain bikes and gear in general and opinions of local trails. The prices are very reasonable and in line with competitors. Best(mountain) bike shop in Salem imho.
