Specialties
Pudding River Wine Cellars is a small family-owned boutique wine producer specializing in Riesling, Pinot Gris, Viognier, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Syrah wines.
History
Established in 2006.
Pudding River Wine Cellars planted Pinot Noir at it’s estate vineyard in 2004. The winery’s first wines were produced in the fall of 2006. Our first wines for sale were released Memorial Day weekend of 2007 with Pinot Gris, Viognier, and an un-oaked Chardonnay. Release of the Estate Pinot Noir and barrel fermented Chardonnay came in the fall of 2007 with the Pinot Noir winning gold medals at the Oregon Wine Awards, Grand Harvest Awards and San Francisco Chronicle wine competition. Our barrel fermented Chardonnay was recognized by the Wine Spectator with an 87 rating. In the spring of 2008 we released our Reserve Pinot Noir which subsequently received a 90 rating in the Wine Spectator. Since then we have gone on to win many gold and double gold awards for our wines. We feel they are world class in quality but are value priced to make them accessible to our local markets.
