Hot Topic is a fun store that tends to have various pop culture goodies that strike my fancy. I rarely go now that I’m middle aged, but I was there yesterday. The two employees there at the time were very friendly and helpful. They told me about the sale, offered to help if I needed it but didn’t push assistance upon me, reminded me of the sale at the register when I forgot that I could get any additional item for 50% off, and pointed out that my receipt could be used for $ 5 off a $ 30 purchase because of my birthday. I just wish Hot Topic offered a broader range of sizes.

Thank you for being less of a goth club and carrying more Power Rangers, TMNT, and Adult Swim clothing to satisfy the inner child in me. Also, the only store chain I know of that carries officially licensed WWE merchandise.

This is one of the smaller Hot Topics that I have been to. It is usually pretty picked over here because this mall is particularly busy with punk teens. I used to love love love Hot Topic growing up– I had that skate/raver/punk look that was popular in the later 90’s. but lately, yes I’m getting older and my tastes have changed, but I just don’t like going in here anymore. The employees are pompous and think they are better than other kids cause they work here it seems. I usually can find some cute accessory or shirt that I can wear in my 30’s and not look like a fool. Overall this store is OK. you may just find a little gem in the rough here.
