I’m unsure why I keep coming back to this gas station, maybe it’s because I think it can’t always be like this! In reality it’s ALWAYS like this, 6 employees working, I young kid running around trying to cover six pumps while the other 4 are all standing in there little employee only box all talking, the guy in front of us got tired of waiting and took the gas nozzle out of his own truck and drove off, wonder if he paid? Oh and the 6th employee was picking up cardboard! There was at least 6 cars waiting in every line! We were lucky and got the young kid so it didn’t take long, felt bad for all the other rows though they hadn’t even moved!

I always, always have to wait here. Fred Meyer is too tight to hire enough people to run all the pumps. Granted, the price of fuel is comparable with CostCo, but still, is it worth the wait? I would be wary about purchasing a gift card inside the store and trying to use it at the pump… Their technology isn’t quite good enough to deal with all that.

Something strange seems to have happened to my car. I’ve been getting gas at the same station by my house for 7 years, but a few months ago, my car started«chugging.» it sounds like it’s flooding when I step on the gas. I thought it might be the weather but as the weather changed it didn’t improve. Then I ran low on gas when I was in Salem so I stopped at this Fred Meyer to fill up, and my car hasn’t acted up since. Now I’m convinced that there must have been something wrong with the gas at my former regular station. I am going to keep getting Freddy’s gas. It was WAY cheaper too!

Most of the time things move pretty quick here. Buy now and than things move way to slow here and I am not sure why. It perplexes me.

Great prices, thanks to the fuel rewards. I always go here!

Usually quick service, prices after the 10 cent discount(if you have the points) are usually a penny or two cheaper than Costco or Arco. If you don’t have the 10 cent discount then they are just a few pennies above Arco.
