Dr. Bishop attended Pacific University College of Optometry; Forest Grove, OR. from 1976 – 1980 where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree and graduated with Distinction.



Internship: Multidisciplinary clinic for indigents in the Albina district of Portland, OR.

Awards: Harold Kohn Memorial Award for submission of an outstanding paper based on original investigative work and suitable for publication.

BSK Award for Outstanding Research Design Gates Award for Ortho-​keratology
