I’m a regular here. Have been for years. What’s going on guys!!! Attitudes from ALL the bartenders. Drunk behind the bar. Not the same rules applying for all patrons… Get it together!!!

My wife and I went in for a quick dinner. Was looking forward to a nice fish fry and some wings for the weekend. Sadly, neither were to our liking. The chicken wings were under-​cooked, nearly raw, and my fish was poor quality [small loins, old and dry]. The bartender/​server was attentive and apologetic but we were really quite disappointed with our meals. Was not crowded at all for a Friday on a holiday weekend… very few diners. I am not sure why. I hope others did not get the poor food too. The remodel is nice, I hope our meal was an anomoly.

If you’re ever in Paddock Lake, Wisconsin, this is a decent bar to stop in and get a drink. Even though the bartender didn’t know how to make the drink I ordered, she asked me how and made it for me. The music was a little loud, but it was late at night so it wasn’t terrible.

Went to watch a friend of a friend play. The atmosphere was great, live music was. Awesome and the Blackhawks were winning.
The issue was with the bartendar that passed me over several times to help other people that had just walked up to the bar.
Yes it was crowded, yes she was the only person there but not even an acknowledgement by look or word. I mean, I was the only black female there so it’s not like I was blending in. But to discriminate customers based on race, wow didn’t realize that one we weren’t in 2014 and two that this bar was part of the Great South where I would expect that kind of behavior. It wouldn’t have been so insulting if a person I knew walked up to the bar to test her and she went to him first and I had still been waiting.
But really the bar had a nice atmosphere and the other patrons that randomly came up to me before the incident were friendly and great.
Just one lousy bartendar trying to ruin a good time.

When you first walk in, it looks like your average bar. The bar itself is actually kind of cool, it’s modeled after a sail boat, which adds a little charm to the place. What brought us in was the all you can eat pollock fish fry. Before it became drifters we used to come in all the time for the Friday fish fry which was ohhhh sooo tasty. Drifter’s version of the fry does not disappoint! The fish was seasoned to my liking, and came with a choice of potatoe pancake or fries side, as well as coldslaw. I think I honestly consumed the whole thing in about 7 minutes flat it was so good (or I was just really hungry). Would definitely recommend checking it out if you are looking for a place to eat on a Friday! The staff was nice but a little slow when it came to paying our bill. They also looked like they were setting up for some live music too! Unfortunately we had to leave just as it was starting. Would for sure return for the fry!

Everytime i go here there is a sewage smell that comes from the backroom (kitchen) that is terrible backgas from poor plumbing. Tonight was no exception. This place used to be one of my favorite places to go in P. Lake, but sadly has been reduced to owners that dont care anymore, and a handful of bartenders that treat you like your bothering them all night. There is one bartender that is awesome, and thats about it.
