I have to give them five stars because it’s so much better than the visit I had towards the end of 2010. New staff, new experience, totally happy with the service. Came out to help, hand delivered the tire to me, worked with urgency. Thank you guys. We will be back for sure.

I called ahead of time to get info on their hours and availability to swap out my wheels for a set that I got online and had delivered. I could only make it down after I got off work. I spoke with Jake who told me they closed at 6 pm and that even if I had shown up at 5:59pm they would still accept me. I was very pleased. When I got there they got my car into the bay and started working on my change over right away but found that I did not take into account that the new wheels take special lugnuts. I did not factor that into my financial equation. I think Jake could tell I was worried about the extra cost of the lugnuts. He offered to discount them for me which really made my day. He patiently answered all of my questions about my TPMS sensors and how they really worked, even after he knew they were supposed to be closed then. I thanked them all for staying late to work on my car. It was not a necessity and I was willing to come back the next day but they insisted on getting it done for me right then! I will reward this kind of service with continued business. I will need a new set of tires at the end of summer and I will definitely be going there for them!

I felt service was great. The front desk guy was spectacular and charming, and handled an annoying customer after me very well. Their prices were a lot better than Les Schwab.

I bought my last three complete set of tires (for 3 different cars) from this place. They’ve been fair in pricing and availability. I’ve never had any other needs besides getting the tires from them and so my experience with them had been ok. However, my recent set of tires had one bad tire… the walls were giving out with bumps on it. It still looks brand new, tread wise, and under warrantee. When I brought it in, I was charged a prorated amount for the tire and dismounting/​mounting and balancing. Ok, I can understand the prorating part but the mounting and balancing is what I don’t agree with. Why would I have to pay mounting and balancing on a tire that’s under warrantee? If the tire is good, I’d NOT need to have a new one and mounting and balancing. The manager told me that everybody charges for the mounting and balancing, including Les Schwab and all these other places. I took it that he’s being honest, but then call to check with Les Schwab and they do not charge for mounting and balancing for a tire that’s under warrantee.
BE WARNED… you will be pinched for every penny you have when you need tire service even when it’s under warrantee. If you need service beyond the initial purchase, even under warrantee, think twice about America’s Tire Store.

I used to shop around every time I needed tires. I don’t bother anymore because I always ended up at America’s Tire Co. I buy all my tires here now and have for years.

After Buying tires from American Tires for my wife’s car. She had experienced good service with tire rotations as needed… 2 days ago July 16, 2013 My wife called me at work from the Lancaster Dr Walmart parking lot, explaining she discovered a low tire with a nail in it. I called American Tire, 1890 Lancaster Dr, (Salem location) and spoke to the assistant manager, and asked if my wife could bring her car in for the repair? After arriving. The assistant manager, looked at the tire and said it was unrepairable, didn’t offer to put on her spare. «She left the store with the nail and low tire, stopped at Les Schwabs 3030 River Rd. Keizer. «They fixed her tire for «Free. I then called the American Tire owner manager and explained what happened. All he had was excuses and he didn’t even see the tire! «I guess you know where I’ll be buying my tires «Les Schwab» and «Thanks for helping my wife be safe.

We always buy our tires at America’s tire store. There are other store in town and I won’t mention their names, but America has the lowest prices, free flat repair, and friendly service. I could go down the street and pay almost twice the price, but my mama didn’t raise no dummy.
