History

Established in 2002.

Purchased in 1979 by Richard and Jeanne Schultz, Cherry City Metals has grown to become the largest scrap metal recycling and processing facility in the Mid Willamette Valley. Originally named City Recycling, and located on Cherry Avenue, this family owned and operated business would call Keizer, Oregon home for more than 19 years. After numerous expansions on Cherry Ave., City Recycling would continue its growth as the demand for recycling increased and would find the need for a larger location. It would be moved and renamed once more to its current home in the Salem Industrial Park as Cherry City Metals. Throughout the years, relocations and name changes, Cherry City Metals has remained a family owned and operated business that has stayed true to its focus on customer service, competitive prices and a commitment to the environment and community.
