Alicyn’s Laundro-Mutt

My father and I have been bringing out dogs here for years. She is always very friendly and does an amazing job everytime. To top it off the prices are very reasonable. I will continue to bring my dogs here for as long as she is available. We have an 100 pound yellow labrador and it is impossible for us to clip his nails at home (he always gets away or wriggles through your arms) but she never has a problem getting them done for us. better yet she offers free nail clippings in between cleanings. we have brought a few different dogs here over the years and we always get prompt friendly service. I would 100% recommend anyone that is «on the fence» to give this place a shot!

I have a 160lb Rottweiler that had an ACL replacement and has an attitude sometimes because he got his nails clipped at at local vet in Salem that butchered his nails… he had such anxiety about his nails that I feared turning him over to someone to do it… When I got there… I wanted her to muzzle him for her safety based on what occurred at the vet. She told me she would if it became necessary… she got on the floor with my dog… she is tiny and probably 100pounds soaking wet! LOL. But she got every nail clipped without too much drama, and there was some because he was fearful based on his last experience… She literally has worked him thru that nail anxiety.
I honestly call and tell her my dogs name and she remembers and is soooo easy to work with… from «come on down» to at one point I wasn’t well and she offered to come to my home if need be. My husband took my dog to her that day and he was impressed with her as well.
She has a very high energy personality and may seem hyper but that’s just part of who she is and I love her for it!
To sum it up…
NOW…I will grasp my dogs leash and tell him «wanna go get your nails done? Go see Laundromutt?!?» He rushes to the door… I open the hatch of my suv and he is in there before I am even down my stairs,
She is an animal lover to the extreme!!!
I have even been able to pamper my dog there as I worried about leaving him after the whole ACL surgery and was treated awesome as I was able to give him the bath there and was helped every step of it…
The prices cannot be beaten!
There is no place I would ever recommend higher for any pet you have!!!

I took my dog there to get groomed and my dog was nicked and uneven. When I went home I had to shave her myself. It took over 6 hours to groom a 15lb dog. Very unprofessional. I called to check on the status of my dog and she did not pick up the phone. Then called back using profanity asking who this was and what I wanted. All I wanted was my dog. I then took her to Petsmart and they were cheaper and did a better job my dog looked great !

took my dog thair yesterday .this lady is so nice and she did an awesome job plus she put nice accessories on my dog and free custom and not pricy at all .my dog wad so happy she was craying she don’t want to leave the place she was having fun .I will be back. Thank u

This was another odd experience and I am wondering if there are more people out there who have had this happen to them after taking their dog to this establishment.
We took our two dogs to this groomer, again shave downs for both. She did a good job on my Yorkie but on my daughter’s Bichon, she shaved a half dollar sized hole in his fur, she was nice enough to admit and also appeared to be intoxicated as she was taking to me, was slurring her words and very close to my face. I decided that, that was enough for me and didn’t go back. I am not sure of the owner/groomer’s name but she is skinny, long brown hair and appears high or drunk. Anyway the worst part of my experience is that she began calling me, drunk dialing, fighting with someone in the background, screaming and swearing, each time I would say hello. nothing was said back, as if she is not aware that she is calling me… drunk dial indeed. I wouldn’t say she was harassing me in anyway because the exchange we had was pleasant at the grooming salon, I just said in my head «I won’t be back!» She proceeded to call when I was with family, with my boyfriend at dinner and when I was out with my friends and always at night Thurs, Fri or Sat. It was weird and it has since stopped but DO NOT GO HERE… SAVE YOURSELVES!!!

Brought my Yorkie, Gidget here after her vet appointment next door. I was in distress because Gidget had just been diagnosed with major heart issues and wanted to pretty her up. They fit us in and dolled her up at a very reasonable price. Gidget was also very comfortable being in the grooming area. They took time and careful detail to her grooming. This place is better than many of the high-​end groomers in Boston. They are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
