This is a long overdue review considering our wedding was a few years ago. But I’ve become more active on Unilocal and I still get mad when I think about our experience with Doug Spiller. He was rude and a chauvinist. When my wife came out in her gown, RIGHT before she was to walk down the aisle, he literally asked her, «Is that all the makeup you’re going to wear?» in a very condescending tone. He wasn’t saying it for the photos — he was saying my wife needed more makeup to look good. His tone was clear. I’m glad she didn’t tell me until after the wedding or it would have gotten ugly. I was furious. He was rude and clipped in general throughout the experience, but that comment was the worst and what I remember the most. On top of his attitude, the pictures weren’t even that good! They weren’t crisp and some were downright blurry. I could have stomached him being a jerk better if the pictures had been perfect, but they were far from it. I almost gave him one star, but the pictures could have been worse, honestly; I’ve seen worse. But I give him zero stars for his personality and attitude and at most three stars for the pictures. On your wedding day, you want someone more professional and nicer than this guy — and you want better quality pictures. Trust me.
