Locos is a legendary sports and entertainment, restaurant and bar located right on Demere Road in gorgeous St Simons Island. Just renovated in the fall of 2015, Locos now features 15 huge televisions showing every NFL game, every Sunday. We also offer the complete package of College Football games each Saturday. Ordered the tacos expecting Mexican street tacos and got cheeseburger tacos with salsa. California club was good. Stick with the bar style food that they have and you cant go wrong.

I wouldnt say that they have GREAT food… its bar food. Stick with the burgers, wings, salad is decent, sandwiches. If you want tacos (i was craving them today so i thought why not). .well…it was burger meat in flour tortillas, no cilantro, no onions, hardly any salsa… just leave mexican food to a mexican food place… ditch that off of your menu guys. Overall service was okay, nothing spectacular.

Average at best and that’s on a scale of restaurants that serve frozen foods. I had tenders and sweet potato fries. The tenders were basically a chunk of deep fried, very hard bread. Fries were tiny and hard as well. Fried pickles (super greasy). The spinach artichoke dip is ok but most likely frozen as well.
Save your money and go to one of the other, much better, restaurants in the area.

My family and I just moved across the street from here so we thought, cool, live music and food within walking distance. I should’ve known it wouldn’t go well when there was no one at the door next to the sign «please wait to be seated.» When we were finally seated, we ordered our drinks, received our drinks and perused the menu. But… no waitress. We saw a young lady taking the order of another table next to us (people who came in after us) but she didn’t even glance our way. I looked at the time and realized 15 minutes had passed and all we had were drinks. So… we walked out and we won’t be back. There are plenty of restaurants on the island that are delicious and with way better service. I’d rather spend money with them.

The food here is very good. I try something different on the menu every time and am always happy with the results.
The service can be a little on the slow side for those of you unused to «Island Time.» Just take a deep breath, have some more sweet tea and relax for a minute. All that stress and rushing around is bad for your health.

Not too impressed. While the live music is enjoyable, the bar service isn’t so much. Drinks were mediocre and ordering food at the bar was fairly slow.

Holy hell. We walked in late. Though the bar was still open. Wrong. We were told as rudely as one can imagine to «get the fuck out.»
I can get behind, «I’m sorry we are closed» or «we already had last call.» But «get the fuck out» Seriously!!! That Nasty old waitress should really find a job more suited to her particular talents. Prison warden maybe. I was proud of the girl in our party who was on the direct receiving end for not making a scene.

Pretty terrible. Salsa was like somebody dumped a can of diced tomatoes in a bowl. Medium well burger was on rarish side. Best part of meal was chips from a bag and the fries. Had to wait a very long time for the check even though there were only two other tables there. Obviously more of a bar than grill. Won’t be back.

Great food and you can bring your dog to the outdoor seating area. The Server BROUGHT Her water!!! I was shocked and so happy I tipped her extra, for caring so much. Sometimes there are bands, trivia nights, etc. But I like to go for lunch Cuban sandwich or Cobb salad are my staples. I have been to Miami and had the authentic cuban experience, this however is a better sandwich! !! I know an American restaurant, oh well try it for yourself! Fried pickles are huge portions so share! Games always on and friendly people around the island stopping by is sweet.

Came here Sunday night Nov 2 to watch football. Walked in, was sat down, and then waited. I was at the table right next to the front door, so I wasn’t in some corner. Waited 20 mins. Nobody ever came over to take my order. I waved down a couple ladies. No luck. A server was talking at a table near me. I waved to him and he nodded but continued to talk to his obvious friends. 10 mins later he was still talking. That was the 20 min mark for me and I got up and left. Went over to Gnats and spent my money on food and beer and watched the game. Horrible service.

ordered shrimp po boy and fried pickles.
shrimp had an off scent as soon as they were brought to the table and the fried pickles were too salty to eat.
while on the island, pick a place with local, fresh seafood– Iguanas or the half shell…

The food, atmosphere, and music was bar-​vacation– fun!
Food wise we ordered the cheeseburger, the Duke (filet tips/​onions spicy ranch sauce), and the Moose Mix up (app platter). The Duke was spicy and delicious, meat cooked to my preference (med– rare). The appetizer platter was HUGE chicken fingers, potato skins, onion rings, mozz sticks — took half home (and that is saying a lot for a 6’4 man eating this as his dinner). The drinks were not too expensive. They have great Friday night specials for the Ladies.
We sat in the bar area and dealt with the bartender. We also had the pleasure of listening to live music from a local band jam– country mix. Quite unique. Wholly entertaining to say the least.
Also one of the only places that serves food LATE (after 10)

Great service! All the waitresses were so kind to my daughter and listened to her tell them all about whatever it was she was talking about at the time.

I didn’t eat but I went to the bar on a Sunday night (st Simons island location) they had a great band playing and the place was hopping– very friendly staff– I think the Unilocal site might say they are closed on Sunday night — but this location was open and the band played from 8 to 1130 pm

Stopped in for lunch. Ashley was my server. The cobb salad was both plentiful and delicious. Ashley always had a smile, kept my glass filled and handled the check quickly. So that’s good food, great service and fast check out. Perfect lunch! Thanks Ashley.

I went here with my grandma and one of her friends for lunch last week. It was great service from Dawn and while the food is just run-​of-​the-​mill, if you show your 4square check-​in, you can get free chips and salsa.
My grandma and I split the turkey rueben and I got the fried dill pickles as a side – OMG So good! Sharing was a great idea and they allow you each your own side for an upcharge of a mere $ 1.50. It was worth it to me since we were sharing AND got a free app.
There aren’t a ton of choices on the Island but I’m sure I’ll go back here before I go to Brogens.

St Simons Island Loco’s is located on Demere Road about a quarter of a mile past the roundabout. This is another chain that has decided to locate on the Island. This chain originated in Athens, Georgia and has grown to more than twenty locations through the southeast. One of my personal favorites at the St Simons Island Loco’s are their buffalo wings. Locos® award-​winning wings tossed in any of their famous wing sauces. They are served with celery, Bleu cheese dressing and a side of fries. I also like the tuna salad salad with their honey mustard dressing. Their potato skins filled with bacon and melted Cheddarjack cheese and topped with chives and served with a side of sour cream. This Island Loco’s has live music every Friday night. Locosnow if offering lunch special at $ 6.99 that include a drink between 11am and 2pm.
