History
Established in 1956.
World Liquors was founded by Victor and Tony Misiewicz in 1956. In 1964 Victor moved his wife and children to St. Petersburg and the store was expanded over time. Currently Victors ’ oldest son, Paul Misiewicz, is owner of the store.
The world liquors sign has been voted best sign in Tampa Bay for many years.

Business Owner
Paul graduated from Lakewood High where he was a track star and attended the University of Florida majoring in engineering. He became owner of the store when his father retired. He is married to Lisa Misiewicz who assists with marketing and has a daughter Rachel.
