Paul Acklin’s Superkicks

What… no reviews yet? My kids have been going to Paul Acklin’s Superkicks for the past seven years (since my 10 year old was 3). Mr. Acklin and his staff are great instructors. They teach discipline and responsibility and somehow the kids still manage to have fun.
The facilities (which are their third location since we’ve been patrons) are very nice, located in the back of a small office building off of 9^th Street. I think you kind of have to know it’s there or you’d never notice it from the street. They have a large class area and a smaller class area as well as a large separate room with big windows for parents to observe the classes. Superkicks completely renovated and customized the space when they moved in, so it is very clean and new.
Superkicks offers classes from beginner to advanced and for adults as well as children. They also have kick-​boxing classes and often have special «master classes» with celebrated experts in the field. They offer after-​school care (with school pick up in the Superkicks bus) and sometimes have «parents’ night out» events. They have even had sleepovers in the past (not sure if they still do that).
My kids have been very happy at Superkicks, obviously, since we have stayed there so long.
