Local shop, personalized service and a good assortment of dance shoes and clothes. .. what more could you want. Located on Central just north of downtown St Pete this is a family owned store and the folks know their stuff. They take the time to understand what you need and make sure you get a good shoe with the right fit. They offer many of the local dance studios discounts.

I went to On Pointe with the intentions of purchasing new dance shoes. There were 2 employees working and only one other customer in the store. I couldn’t get either of the associates to speak to me, help me find a pair of shoes, or even to acknowledge me what-​so-​ever. Will not return or refer any of my students there.

I love On Pointe. I’m only a hobbyist, but this place is perfect for all kinds of shoes (ballet, ballroom, jazz shoes, you name it) and sizes. If they don’t have it, they can order it. It’s always best to try them on in person with shoes. I’ve picked up generic canvas ballet shoes (in a funky size without having to special order), foot undeez (which I found out don’t work for my feet after trying a few different times), lyrical shoes… I was in recently and eyeballed what I’m assuming was a sari all folded up on a hanger. Teal blue silk and pink… yum! They also have all the default/​traditional dancer stuff — leotards, tops, sweats, skirts, some small costume jewelry and hair stuff, tights, etc. I seem to buy things for feet though. The employees are always super nice and very helpful.

My favorite Dance shop in Tampa Bay! Wide variety of dance wear and shoes with great customer service. Last I checked, this store is also the only official UFO dealer in Florida!!!
