I second the other reviews. If you have a bow, you should be going to Mikes. I have taken mine and my child’s bow there for tuning and to buy arrows. They know what they are doing, and perform the work quickly and cheerfully. Like another said, you can buy it at BassPro or Cabelas(no knock on those places), but a bow is like a wedding dress. You need to have the right bow, and you need to have it set up properly. I have taken my kid’s bow to the other place(Cuz it’s close to the range in downtown St. Charles), and they were not able to solve my problem. Took it to Mike’s and the issue was identified and fixed in minutes, by one of the younger guys no less. When the time comes to buy a new bow, I will come here first. I believe getting the right bow and a good fit is a better value than a cheaper price.

Had gone to a few other places before going to Mike’s and have wasted a lot of money. Wish I would have found him sooner. Very straight forward with the price and what i was needing for my bow. Very prompt with the service and surprised the turn-around time was to complete the service. Will continue to use this shop and will recommend it to others.

I’ve been coming here for years and i love this place!!! if your a sportsman and need archery gear or fishing gear this is the place for you. Most go to bass pro and thats a great place as well, but this is local with great prices, great service, very personal and great products. Close to deer season my dad and I get our arrows made here and they can fetch around 6 bucks per carbon arrow but thats cheap for carbon, and they fly great and never break. They have a epic selection of lures and worms with lots of bandits which are great for large mouth in a lake but be warned, can be 4.00+ and if they get in a branch its probably gone. Come here for great service and good price’s
