St. Paul Music Lessons is a private lesson studio teaching piano lessons, voice lessons, guitar and bass lessons. We offer professional, private instruction, tailored to the learning style of the individual. Beginners through advanced learners are welcome. We have 4 teachers teaching in our 3 lesson studios. Lessons are available Monday through Thursday and Saturday.

History

Established in 2002.

St. Paul Music Lessons started as an independent home teaching studio. Located just off W 7^th Street in the Little Bohemia neighborhood, the studio continued to draw more students than one teacher could manage. In 2011, a second studio was created and two new teachers were recruited. In 2013 we added a 3^rd studio.

Meet the Business Owner

Sara D.

Business Owner

Sara began teaching voice to her friends, band-​mates and several non-​singing musicians while in college in the 1990’s. After finishing her Music Education degree and earning a MN teaching license, she pursued vocal pedagogy in graduate studies at the University of Minnesota and through the VoiceCare Network at Saint John’s in Collegeville.

Sara previously worked teaching voice at Waconia High School, MN and also taught private voice, piano and guitar at Trinity Lutheran School of Music. She also sings and plays guitar in a rock and roll cover band.

She has taught voice through St. Paul Community Ed and started St. Paul Music Lessons as her home studio in 2002.
