Established in 2007.

River Island Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine Clinic has been located in St. Paul, Minnesota since 2007 with branch locations at Hudson Hospital’s Hudson Counseling Services, a behavioral medicine clinic. River Island Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine Clinic is dedicated to promoting the holistic health of its community by:

Meet the Business Owner

Christine G.

Business Owner

Christine Gendreau graduated magna cum laude, MS Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Northwestern Health Sciences University. Her course of study included over 3,000 hours of clinical and didactic training in both Chinese and Western medicines.

Gendreau completed her baccalaureate studies at the College of St. Catherine, BA Biology, cum laude, Beta Beta Beta and Psi Chi Honor Societies.

Gendreau has 15 years entrepreneurial experience owning and operating a holistic health care-​based business.

Gendreau is a diplomate in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) and is licensed through the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice and the Wisconsin Department of Licensing. Her additional credentials include: licensed and certified massage therapist with advanced training certification in craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, food energetics, cooking for health, and yoga.
