It was alright, nothing moved for me, as in the ground. A friend lives near by and thought we would try it. It was well worth the cheap money spent, a nice portion.

Everything you could ask for and more. I’ve been here several times since the Green Line opened(the Victoria Avenue stop is right outside) and it’s quickly become one of my favorite places to get lunch or dinner in the Twin Cities. The portions are generous, delicious, and surprisingly inexpensive. The congee(rice porridge with meat, fish in my case) and the hot pots are fantastic, flavorful and hearty. Definitely worth a visit.

This place is great: great service, good variety of menu items, including unusual items like jackfruit smoothies. I agree with other reviewers about the clay pot dishes. The crunchy carmelized rice at the bottom of the pot is like dessert!

Great service, delicious food, clean restaurant. Recently ate here with a group of seven and our food came very quickly. I would recommend the clay pots with rice. Very delicious. Best phở that I have had out of all of the Vietnamese restaurants in the area. I try to make a stop here when I am home.

I wanted a sandwich(as always) they have tons of pictures of sandwiches but server tells us «no sandwiches», should of just left… if I ever feel I should just leave then seriously I should just leave cause who cares I will never be back, but nope husband won’t let me leave, so I get salt and pepper shrimp, seemed simple but no it was a mess, husbands phở was tasteless, oh bathroom is shared with other stores including a nail salon that keeps its door open all day n night to fill the hallways with a nasty smell, so don’t go to the bathroom before you eat or you’ll seriously mess up your smell for the rest of your meal. Actually don’t go here at all.

Excellent food and fair prices; probably my favorite Vietnamese place in the Cities. Come here for the food(the menu is extensive, and the hot pots are among the highlights) and value. I also love the dishes with lemongrass. Good lunch deals, too — and, frankly, the décor(bright, clean) is best suited to lunch time.(Not to mention, no alcohol). Don’t come for the service, which, while prompt, has never been particularly friendly. Well worth a visit.

My good friend taught me I should never eat at a place that doesn’t look busy. I’ve been here at least 10 times to pick up take out or sit in, and I’ve never seen more than 3 groups of people at once But Que Nha got City Pages Best Vietnamese Food of 2013. Weird. Anyways, Que Nha has a large menu with tons of stuff to try. There aren’t too many Vietnamese places you see goat on the menu. Que Nha’s service is decent, sometimes it’s hard to get someone to serve you, but if you keep coming back, the server(who is always there) will remember what you usually order. Nice touch. In short, the rice dishes and hot pots are where they shine, spring rolls are okay, and the soup is meh.

This is a nice place to go for unusual Vietnamese food. I’ve had the congee with fish and ginger, and it hit the spot. The ingredients were fresh, the congee flavorful, and the fish cooked just right. I also had goat curry, and the earthen rice pot with chicken. The rice pot was also tasty and filling, with the mushroom and bamboo shoots holding in the flavor from the chicken and sausage. The goat curry was a bit bony and spicy for my taste, but that’s probably because I didn’t grow up with it and didn’t know what to expect. The décor is tasteful and the restaurant is always clean and bright. The parking lot is also a nice plus. This is a good place to take a friend if you want good food and an ambience that is a little nicer than average.

I LOVE this place, but it can be hit or miss. Mostly it is a hit though. Clean location, authentic food, and(usually) friendly wait staff. Must tries are the earthen pots with the crisped rice on the bottom and the Ban Xeo(spelling?) crisp rice flour crêpe listed under the«Beef Special. The latter dish has no beef in it though, but its misplacement on the menu is befitting a quality Asian restaurant.

Que Nah is a gem. I was skeptical because of the area. Inside the restaurant is spotless. Waitress was beyond pleasant. The food was fresh and very tasty! Overall, a great choice.

Came here for lunch on a Friday. I had the chicken chow mein and a glass of water. This day was very hot out, upper 90’s, and the place did not have an AC on. Even the waitress was complaining. The water they served tasted like they filled my glass with an old garden hose. The plate I ordered had vegetables that were tasteless, not sweet or soft like I expected. Maybe it is because it was my first time ordering the chow mein instead of the lo mein, but i did not enjoy my lunch here.

I walked in at the heart of what should be a busy lunch hour. I could have sworn I heard crickets chirping in the background. I should have walked out, but I sat down and ordered me a bowl of over priced phở and a side of over priced egg rolls. It was almost decent. Not worth the price I paid for them. They cater towards rich white folks and their food wasn’t that good. They are located in a small business complex only has one bathroom for the whole place. I thought I was lucky when I got the first parking space in the parking lot, but that was just a gimmick to get you in the door. Don’t let that open first parking space fool you. This place is way over priced, but I was desperate for phở that day and I didn’t want to go onto the other side of University because of construction. The service was slow too, even though there weren’t that many customers. I mean… phở should take less that 5 minutes to come out. I was waiting for almost 10 minutes.

I have been here on multiple occasions. Everything I have had has been excellent. Bun, Phở, Hot and spicy chicken, and Beef and shrimp spring rolls you make yourself. There is a very large variety to pick from as well. The lady that works here does a great job and works hard to keep everybody happy. It is very clean compared to most of the Vietnamese places I know and the décor is a lot better.

We have been coming here for about 2 years now and every time, it is always a treat. The Phở is a delicious stock of yummy flavors. Also, I get the Stock-Pot Mix(I am sure that is not what you call it, but it comes in a little ceramic pot with all sorts of great meats(chicken, pork and vietmanese sausage) over rice, and is cooked in the crock which comes to you right out of the oven. It is one of my favorites that I have not found anywhere else. Enjoy there service also. The server there is a sweet little woman, who is now going to have her first baby!!! We are so joyed by this news. She only takes one vacation a year, in the Summer to go see her family far, far away. She is a hard working woman, so tip her well!!!

Hmmmm. I think I chose the wrong thing… I owed a friend a lunch and we decided on this joint. We walked in and the place is pretty darn cute — it was very clean and the servers very nice. We’d checked out the menu on-line first so we kind of had an idea of what we wanted, but neither of us had ever been there, so we played it kind of safe food wise. Plus, when there aren’t any pictures, it’s hard for me to decide what to choose. We each had a lunch special — I had chicken with black bean sauce and she tried the chicken and vegetables. The lunch specials come with fried rice and an egg roll for $ 5.95. Her food came first and it looked appealing. The veggies were plentiful and chicken looked good too. She said something was missing. It was a little bland and needed a kick. My food came about 5 minutes later and looked okay. There was plenty of chicken and sauce, but I didn’t like the veggies with the dish — mushrooms, onions(which were very hard and didn’t seem too cooked), red peppers and little corn cob things. The black bean sauce was extremely salty, although the chicken was good. I have to say, I left hungry. The meal itself was big, but I didn’t like the veggies, so 4 days later I’m kicking myself for ordering what I did. I’m not sure what I was expecting for the rice, but this wasn’t it. It was just some yellow rice that I could tell had been fried. No veggies or anything. The egg-roll which was a nice addition for a lunch special was okay. I thought it was heavy on the ginger and I’m not a huge fan. This review seems very negative, but the food was good, it just didn’t work for me. I would go back and try something else. For 2 lunch specials and waters it was $ 12.50 or so. The price was right, the food decent, the service okay and the atmosphere comfortable. Just a quick note — go up to the counter to pay, we were not given our check and our plates were not cleared, so we headed up.

This is a true gem. I’m spoiled by amazing Vietnamese food where I live, and this would fit right in. We came here with a party of four and left stuffed. The phở is delicious, as was everything else we ordered(spring rolls, Vietnamese pancake that I can’t pronounce or spell). As an added bonus the service was great. Only one person was working front of house, and she kept everyone in the room fed and looked after. Super friendly! Will be looking forward to going back on my next trip through town.

Probably the only place in town that offer Nem Noung close to how I ate in Vietnam. Other dishes are also good and affordable.

I have been to Que Nha several times. I only rate it 3 stars because the ambiance is very generic, the service is typically poor to average and you have to pay for drink refills. I had the tofu noodle salad the first time I went here — Mai Village has a better salad. I also like the vegetarian spring rolls at Mai Village better because they come with a plum vs. peanut sauce. I return because the mock duck dishes are very good. The portions are large. I come to Que Nha for lunch on the weekend because it is quiet and I’m usually super casual.

Que Nha(prononced«whey nya») is a great place. Agree with others that the clay pot dishes are great. I’ve not really had a bad dish there. Plus, it is quite lovely inside(nice, clean, bright interior) and therefore a very pleasant place to eat. The staff are extremely nice and friendly. There are a lot of good places to get Asian food on University, but this is one of the most pleasant all-around experiences to be had.

I have a thing for egg rolls. Que Nha has the best pork egg rolls I’ve had at a restaurant, they are almost as good as homemade. They have a nice sweet and spicy dipping sauce to go with the rolls. The décor does seem almost like fast-food, but it’s deceiving. The waitress was quick and very nice. My parents come here fairly regularly, and I’ve been here a few times with them when I’m in town, and overall the food is very good and VERY reasonably priced.
