Business Owner
Dr. Launer is a Twin Cities native. He completed his undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis, graduating summa cum laude. After returning to the Twin Cities, he earned his medical degree at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and went on to complete his residencies in state.
Dr. Launer has earned a teaching appointment as an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota. He is also a Surgical Consultant/Instructor at the Veterans Administration Medical Center. He has been performing LASIK surgeries for more than two decades.
Certifications: American Board of Ophthalmology, American Board of Eye Surgery, American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ASCRS) and International Society of Refractive Surgeons (ISRS)
