Mollner Properties

I’ve lived in a lot of apartments in a lot of towns. I thought I’d be more pleased at my Roseville abode. It started out so promising.
First of all, Roseville is a little quiet for my taste. But that’s not really my apartment’s problem. So moving on, it all started with a newly renovated apartment. Definitely the nicest place I’ve lived in – new carpet, new appliances, etc.
However, when I moved in (two weeks after the original move-​in date they gave me), they had forgotten to order blinds. So I lived a full month in the place being blinded by the sun and giving accidental peep shows. The folks at Mollner Properties were surprisingly unapologetic.
Additionally, my garage I was paying for was also available about a week late.
Then we come to the issue of laundry. There are strict hours of 8 am — 9 pm to use the washer/​dryer. Let’s just say that pulling my clothes out of the dryer at 10 pm was not kosher.
Finally, I thought I was being nice by giving three months notice I would not be renewing my lease. I picked up the apartment, and everything looks pretty neat. Not deep cleaned, but it’s not move out time yet either – you can tell someone still lives there. Apparently the landlord is not pleased. I received a phone call getting complaints about the stove, garage – which only contains a piece of cardboard and random leaves that blew in, and general cleanliness of the apartment. Honestly, there is nothing destroyed or dramatically dirty about any part of that apartment.
If you want to feel like you’re being babysat, watched with eagle eyes by your friendly neighbors and deal with freakouts over non-​issues, move in. I know I got suckered in with the amount of space and generally good upkeep of the building. Not the worst place or experience ever, but not people I would want to deal with again.
