History

Established in 1998.

LasX Industries developed from the idea that lasers have great potential for precisely converting flexible materials. The concept of laser digital converting was developed and the LaserSharp laser processing module was created to utilize this new and innovative technology. In 1998 LasX moved into its headquarters location in St. Paul, MN and in 2009 a second Laser Modules facility opened to accommodate growth in system sales. FlexPak Services, a sister company to LasX, was also created to offer laser perforating and scoring contact services to the flexible packaging market.
