Buffet selection was good — plenty to choose from. Quality of some dishes was bland and some were too salty.

No surprises. Their buffets are tasty. Tables have grease feel.

I tried this place again a month ago. The heater was broken in the building, but staff apologized for it. I don’t get the appeal of this place… I ate here back in 2007… thought I’d try it again. It’s gross, there’s nothing to eat for $ 12 at the buffet. Yuck. Don’t do the buffet. Staff is nice, but the buffet is nothing but cold bad food… I’ll enjoy the fortune cookie for dinner. Enjoy the $ 12 fortune cookie and I hope it fills your stomach.

This place is the place to go for all the highschoolers during lunchtime. For $ 5 – 8 you can get a buffet box and fill it up to the top! Some of the food is better than the rest, but for the price you pay, it’s definitely worth it.

To my shock Plaza Garibaldi is gutted so I noticed this place. They are known for the buffet and as far as food quality it is one of the best. One of the reasons is the chicken is so tender even the hula one on a stick. They have all the breaded sweet items, sesame, general tao, and sweet and sour, but nothing is too heavy, really tasty, and even crunchy. Nothing is over salted even dishes like the mushrooms. The cream cheese wontons are generously filled. They have moo goo gai pan which you don’t usually find on the buffet, and that was good too. I found a nice lettuce salad with a sweet and spicy vinegrette. A nice mix of the standards and the extras. A soda is only a dollar with the buffet and free refills. They say not to go grocery shopping on an empty stomach. After this going on a full one wasn’t especially comfortable either. The place was packed by 11:30. A good sign.

A friend and I shared a family meal for two(Cashew Chicken and Beef with Broccoli) we also received cream cheese won tons, two egg rolls, soup of our choice — — we had the sweet and sour soup, it was very spicy, but delicious and full of flavor. Additionally, we were served fried rice. All that we received was fantastic and packed with flavor. Additionally, our waiter was great, he was very accommodating and helpful. This restaurant is a must! enjoy!

I was craving chicken wings yesterday because I smelt it at work. Came home and was contemplating on where to get some until I saw in the mail a coupon for this buffet. I then decided it would just cost as much or more to make wings. Plus most buffet have wings so I decided to check this place out. Coupon was 1.50 off regular dinner buffet of 8.95 Service– walked in and lady greeted me to seat myself. She then came over to get my drink. Throughout this experience I was asked if everything was ok. Service was really great! Food– small buffet but that’s what I figured after reading reviews for he place. Indeed food did feel fresh and warm. Noticed that they often refilled the food once it got busier. Fried rice was ok. It’s better than most bufferts but the rice itself seemed kinda dry otherwise it was good. Shell on shrimp was pretty good. Usually don’t eat cuz don’t want the hassle of peeling the shell off, but i popped one in mouth and it was pretty good! Sesame chicken looked good but had a wired unpleasant taste to it. There was some other crisp chicken dish that is probably the best dish here because it was actually crispy! Wings looked good but didn’t really have that much flavor. There were also fried noodles, soups and oher dishes. Bill came to 10some so I figured he drink was 2! I shoulda known better. Overall cheap place to eat and good food but don’t expect a wide selection.

The buffet is very top notch, albeit not very selective. The fried rice is the best in the Twin Cities! Service can be questionable, so ask for two drinks.

Ate buffet once– so salty and oily. They claimed not using any msg but I don’t buy it. Their beef noodle is good, but too pricy…

When was the last time you took a bottle of ground white pepper and tried to take shots of it? For me it was about an hour ago during my lunch at this place. Everything seemed to be doused in the stuff and it was strong. The place on the inside seems a little run down but it seemed like they had a steady flow of regulars that were greeted with«Hey how have you been?» «Hi there, long time no see.» I’m not really sure what they were eating but they seemed to enjoy the buffet a little more than I did. I would be very surprised if I made it back into this place.
