Skyway dining is a hit or miss. This was a shining example of a miss. First off it was grossly overpriced: a bowl of terrible soup set me back six bucks. I wouldn’t have minded paying a premium of they offered delicious soup, but that doesn’t exist here. I ordered a clam chowder(I had been thinking about chowdah for days…) and this was such a disappointment. The soup also came with breadsticks, which were rather unnoteworthy and tasted as if they had been chilling underneath the heat lamp for a good 8 hours. As far as the chowder, you could almost taste the corn starch used to thicken it and it had a glue like consistency. Being I spent 6 bucks on something that made we want to gag, I returned it. The return of the soup is how this place earned one star. Bad food AND bad service with a touch of terrible pricing. I think I offended the lady when I returned the clam chowder(and trust me, I’m not a mean person!) I asked how some of the other offerings were and she mentioned all their creamy soups were all like the chowder. She took my chowder and threw it in the trash spitefully and I got chicken noodle soup(also bland) to just get out of there. Skip it! So many other offerings in the skyway! My cafeteria food trumps this place and is a third of the price.
