Cardinal Corner is a wild bird and nature store located on Robert St. with the cross street being Butler Ave. The store was started in 1987. All our employees live in the area and love to feed the wild birds. They are very knowledgeable about bird feeding.

Cardinal Corner carries the latest products for wild bird feeding. Bird feeders and bird seed, books, poles and accessories, squirrel and raccoon baffles. Everything to help bring the best variety of birds to your backyard.

Cardinal Corner has a large selection of gifts related to nature and gardens.

We are a sponsor of WCCO radio’s nature notes on Sunday mornings.

History

Established in 1987.

Cardinal Corner Inc. was established in 1987 and is located in West Saint Paul, Minnesota. We had the honor to be awarded the «2000 West St. Paul Small Business of the Year Award» given out by the Dakota County Chamber of Commerce. Cardinal Corner supports and are members of various wildlife groups. Cardinal Corner strives to carry the latest and greatest products for backyard bird feeding and the latest trends in nature gifts. Our second store was opened in 2002 in Newport, Mn at the Newport Center Shopping Center on Hwy 61. This store is managed by Amy, daughter of Pam, co-​owner of Cardinal Corner.

The stores are owner/​operated by Pam and Le, who are sisters and live in the area.

A real family owned and operated business. We are sisters and the manager of the Newport Store is Pam’s daughter Amy. Other family members have worked at Cardinal Corner over the 23 years of operation.
