History

Established in 2010.

Avenue I.T. was founded by Tony Hartwig and Emily Alewine.

We are a small, family run computer service and support business enjoying life in the Twin Cities.

We are a husband and wife team. Tony is the computer guru while Emily is the designer and voice over talent for training and eLearning production.

We started Avenue I.T. in 2010 with the goal of offering exceptional service for all computer needs of residential and business customers.

Business Owner

Technology is not just my job, it is also my hobby. I specialize in bridging the gap between problems and their solutions while using clear communication and educating people along the way. I see my role as not only one of computer expert, but also as teacher.

I started my career as a founding member of Geek Squad. I have extensive experience not only in computer support, but also in software development and creating web-​based solutions.

I co-​founded my first business in the year 2001, Digital Array, to develop web based software applications. Two of our larger applications are still in place today.

I also have experience working abroad with global I.T. initiatives. While living in the Netherlands, I architected a global software platform & managed a Learning Management System (LMS) to share aviation safety incident information between countries and regions.
