Still better than Home Depot. HD years ago used to be the place but they are no longer that good. Lowe’s is still consistent and if you have any problems in the store they will fix it I have had to do that in the past.

I went to lowes today to purchase a 2 by 6 by 12. I would need it cut into 3 four foot pieces. I approached the nearest employee and asked if he could cut the wood. I was told NO. Their saw burned up 2 weeks ago. I also asked 3 other employees and received the same answer. This is a lumber yard and their saw«burned up» 2 weeks ago. They must not have any circular saws in stock. I was told that they couldn’t use a circular saw because there is too much liability. Huh? There is no employee who is allowed to use a circular saw in a lumber yard??? REALLY? My husband is a contractor and we have several rental units. We used to frequent lowes. I guess that Home Depot gets our business from now on. By the way, we went across the street and purchased the lumber at Home Depot and they cut it as we requested. Lowes lost a good customer. Oh well. That burned-up saw is costing them a lot of business. Maybe they should have gone into their rental department and rented a saw… Or is there too much liability???

terrible customer service. They first said they would price match home depot but then when it was out of stock at «closest» home depot. The home depot 2 miles away had it in stock so I just got it at that one!!! Lowe’s was a total waste of time. The manager Larry was NOT helpful!

Even though this Lowe’s is right across the street from a Home Depot, I totally pefer this store. They have a better selection, from screws and bolts to wiring, tiling, and gardening. Also, the customer service has always been friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. This is our first choice for hardware, house, and garden needs.
