History
Established in 1953.
Weintraub Advertising opened the doors of its one-man office in 1953. Founder Sam Weintraub was widely recognized in the industry as an authority on retail advertising. He broadened that reputation through ventures into political, civic, and public-service campaigns, including successful campaigns for the offices of mayor, governor, and United States senator.
In 1978, Sam’s two sons, Larry and Rob, joined the business and focused on the use broadcast, print, and multimedia advertising to serve a growing and diversified roster of clients.
Today, we are one of two advertising agencies in St. Louis still remaining from the early ‘50s that has retained the same name and family ownership.
Meet the Business Owner
Robert W.
Business Owner
Rob possesses almost 30 years of experience in advertising, film and radio production, and retail marketing. He graduated from Syracuse University, majoring in film. Following his decision to forsake a career at CBS, Rob joined Weintraub Advertising where he has won Addy, Telly, and Marconi awards for excellence in television and radio production. His clients love what he does for them, too. Rob encourages imagination and innovation in the production of powerful, results-driven advertising in every medium.
