Great! Always ALWAYS there for me. (Let me first say (5) stars from me are rare.) WKF has been there for me for years. I cannot count how many times they have saved me at work. They truly take the stress off my back when I have a last minute request. They have done large events to just an arrangement. Now that I have moved outside the state I will use WKF for all my occasions. They are so professional and all the staff is wonderful. I have worked with them for years and I just read about their history! They are true STL through and through, you should definitely check it out.

Scott Cooper took my call today for a last minute order for two floral sprays needed for a cousin’s funeral today. Scott has fantastic customer service skills. He was so very knowledgeable and used his past experience working with the funeral director to get information to ensure my arrangement matched the rest of the family flowers. Scott even helped me send my cousin’s wife something nice to comfort her at home. I live out of town so he really took the guess work out of this sad occasion. I am so glad I have Knoll’s number in my phone to help on any occasion when I want to send flowers to St. Louis!

I have used WKF since we moved to St. Louis 16 years ago. I think there has been only one instance where there was an issue, and they took care of it right away. I don’t think they are cheap, but they are of quality and a pleasure to do business with. If you need flowers, go to WKF. Highly recommended.

My family has used Walter Knoll my entire life. Since I moved across country I still use them to supply celebration gifts to my family and they never disappoint. If I have issues online there is always someone to talk to that can walk my through any issues. I have never had a bad experience with WK Florist and I have been using them for 30 years.

The online offerings for last minute delivery are plentiful and affordable. As an appreciative recipient of flowers from WKF I can say that the blooms are always gorgeous and long lasting. I’d recommend this florist to anyone!

I decided to give them a second chance. I had a very negative first experience but heard a really impressive interview on the radio with the owner. He was talking about how meticulous he is with arrangements and how if they make one and it isn’t to their standard they will start the whole thing over again. I was moved by the interview so we used WK instead of Lescher ‘s for a project this year.
I had another really negative experience. I wish they put even ten percent of the care they claim to place in their flowers into customer service. Every employee I encountered here was blatantly rude. I had to place three phone calls and each time they told me something and then called me back and changed their mind on something. They told me I could pay when I picked up the flowers but then a guy called and very rudely demanded a credit card as if I had done something wrong. They should have had me pay when I called them. We live in a day and age where nobody should be calling me and demanding my credit card info.
Going into the showroom was the worst. Just like last time, there was no help to be found. Employees walked by finally and completely ignored me. I had to walk around like a dumb ass and interrupt some guy eating lunch to get help. The employee I worked with told me opposite information as a guy on the phone. And they wouldn’t let us borrow a bucket for water for one day unless we paid a nonrefundable ten dollar fee, which really irked me. We are a local nonprofit.. come on. Also, they tried to charge a delivery fee to pick up our wholesale flowers at another WK location, even though I’m sure they have trucks going there all the time. They claimed wholesale was a separate business, but they used the same name. You can’t be the same or different business only when it is convenient for you and screw the local customers.
Are their flowers pretty? Yeah they are flowers. If you’re out of town ordering for delivery they are reputable, but being a local and having to deal with the extremely unfriendly staff was a very frustrating and upsetting experience. Customer service is everything to me. How they have built their business on customer service like that I do not understand. We placed a relativley small order, but eventually those small orders become repeat customers and referrals and weddings etc.
We are going back to locals like Lescher who appreciate our business, are professional, and go out of their way to help us, like when they lend us a bucket or two to transport a couple hundred flowers.
I will say I did get a good wholesale price, but I am at the point where it is not worth saving a few bucks when you get nickel and dime on something like borrowing a bucket. Customer service matters.

Worst florist on the face of earth. Next day delivery for two dozen roses in St Louis. How much? Take a wild guess. $ 199!$ 199 for 24 roses… ill be damned. If you want to get roses of cheap price and better quality? Go straight to whole foods or schnucks for ¹⁄₁₀ of the price lol. Huge ripoff. HUGE RIPOFF. Even if you got the spare money, God, use it somewhere that makes sense.

The best in St. Louis. My mom owned a flower shop in a small town, and Walter Knoll is the only florist I trust for great quality and value. I recommend them to everyone looking for flowers. Their online ordering experience is so easy and offers so many options. When I order from Walter Knoll, I know the flowers will show up looking beautiful and last a long time and will be something the recipient will love.

Scheduled flowers to be delivered to my wife for her birthday. They were set to be delivered to her workplace but she got sick and couldn’t make it to work. I called last minute to ask that the flowers be sent to our house instead. They made it happen and my wife was happy with how great they looked!

I’ve been ordering flowers from Walter Knoll Florist for more than 10 years for clients, friends and family. 98% of the time, the order is perfect and they look just like the photos you see online. Delivery is timely and courteous, communication is excellent between the staff and me. On the rare occasion when the recipient took a photo and I could see the flowers weren’t what I ordered (It looked more like a funeral than a congratulations), WKF came to the rescue and remade the bouquet and delivered it immediately. I like that I can get points and apply that to my purchases –always wonderful to be rewarded for being a faithful customer!

Living out of town but being a native of St. Louis I rely on Walter Knoll a few times a year for flowers. From the people that get the flowers it seems like they are beautifully arranged and last longer than many of the competitors. As a buyer my only issue is I wish they had more of selection as I feel the big national companies have more of a selection to choose from, but overall I have always been happy with Walter Knoll. I will continue to support them in the future. I also love that the reward points do not expire on a year to year basis.

for years and I have never been disappointed. Deliveries are always timely and the product is always top notch. The rewards program is easy and you don’t have to jump through a bunch of hoops.

3 yrs now I have ordered Valentine’s Day flowers. The flowers are beautiful and delivered on time. The staff there is always friendly. I won’t order flowers anywhere else.

My order for a replica of their photo containing an arrangement with higher end flowers was fulfilled to showcase their oversized ‘CARNATIONS’. I am embarrassed.

I grew up in St. Louis and when I was there Walter Knoll was my go-​to florist. I loved them.
I still do and call them remotely, now that I no longer live in the area, to send floral arrangements to my family & friends. I’ve used both the St. Louis U and South County locations and was very pleased with both.
The flowers are always very fresh, beautifully arranged & the value is amazing for the arrangement you receive. I’ve ordered via phone and on the Web and both experiences were very good.
The delivery people are also polite and prompt.
If you have an account (like I do) you can do your complete order online. It’s easy peasy. I love it. Which is probably why I was a little annoyed at being encouraged to do a survey and review.
Which is my only complaint…
in my humble opinion it felt a little pushy when they asked me to fill out a 3 question survey. Then when I gave them good feedback, they seemed a little pushy about asking for a Unilocal,Angie’s List or Google review.
In my opinion, I think they may want to rethink how they ask for feedback and reviews.

This is not my first purchase from Walter Knoll. Every time I need to be sure beautiful flowers will be delivered on time, I know they’ll get it done. I sent flowers to my sister last week for her birthday and to my wife this week. They both were just thrilled! Well done!

We met with Elizabeth Crabtree for our consultation at the LaSalle location. She was able to help me keep costs low while keeping my vision at the forefront. I did not have any pictures of what I wanted, but I knew I wanted calla lilies in my bouquet. Our colors were black and white, so that meant all white flowers. She was able to keep mainly callas, but to lower the price and still have a full bouquet, we added hydrangeas and white tulips. Since I didn’t know what this would look like, she brought me into the cooler on site to show me another bride’s bouquet. This was the best part– I knew what my flowers would look like and I was set at ease. We only ordered a bouquet for myself and smaller one with deep purple callas for my maid of honor and a toss bouquet. A couple of boutonnieres for the men and corsages for the moms and grandmas. By having access to whole sale prices, the shop was able to accommodate our small order. Other shops said we needed to order 12 purple callas when we only needed 4 since they didn’t have access to ordering less.
The day of wedding: I was supposed to pick up the flowers from the Hampton location (this is even documented on the receipt) since it was closer to my house. I get there with hair and makeup done ready for pictures to start in about 10 minutes, and they had not been delivered. The staff called LaSalle and offered to deliver ASAP at no charge. We got the flowers 30 minutes after we would have liked them, but we got them. They were prefect and exactly what we ordered. The bouquets came with vases– who knew you got free vases? I thought I needed to provide them. That was nice. WKF refunded the price of the delivery as a «sorry» for the location mix-​up. I would use them again in the future especially because the open stock flowers are half-​off on Sunday.

Another favorite hidden in a nook and cranny of St. Louis. If you haven’t been to this area of St. Louis, you will be charmed by all the local florists known as St. Louis’ historic Florist Row.
The street is lined with local flower shops that give out an antique vibe due to the age of all the buildings. It is quaint and comforting seeing establishments thrive like this in the city.
Walter Knoll has a great spot on the corner of LaSalle and California. On summer months, it is a perfect spot to browse through their outdoor selection of flowers, bushes and other greenery. I purchased some unique flowers that I wouldn’t have ever found at Home Depot.
This place is a gem that is worth visiting if not for the neighborhood but definitely for the flowers.
PS — Also be sure to check out their wholesale store next door. A cooler filled with discounted, fresh flowers. We used them for our wedding centerpieces which we put together ourselves to save some money. It was a great option!!!

I chose WKF because I attended a bridal show where they had some beautiful arrangements displayed — it was the end of the day and they gave me a bouquet to take home. I was so impressed from talking to them that I decided they would do my October 2012 wedding.
I worked with Sally at the «Flower Row» location on La Salle. She is very enthusiastic about what she does — trust me, that enthusiasm shows in the arrangements. During my first visit, I had no idea what I wanted except the colors and that I wanted a «fluffy» texture. She took me into their warehouse and showed me all the different kinds of flowers in the colors I wanted, but still within my budget. It was great to have that visual.
During my second consult, they put together a «mock» bouquet for me and allowed me to take it home. Sally helped me come up with a way for the arrangements we were hooking to the columns of our ceremony gazebo to also be used on our head table.
They allowed us to bring in the bouquet jewels and lace I wanted to wrap the handles in — this was a huge cost saver. The day before the wedding, my mom picked up some bunches which she used to make small arrangements for the aisle — this also saved labor costs.
WKF worked within my budget and I was very pleased with the results. The flowers were «fluffy,» colorful, and very much alive. Delivery on wedding day was early (which I appreciated)! Would highly recommend.
