I love having this place in my neighborhood. The food is good and service is always solid. The Des Peres location is always hopping– but not quite as diverse as the UCity clientele. We like to sit on their patio as it’s less noisy, weather permitting. We have had several of their burgers: the Pogue Mahone, the Bacon Jam pub burger, the Flamethrower — all were tasty. The salads were ok, but nothing to rave about in my opinion. Good pub food. Nice selection of beers and I like to see what’s new on tap. Recommend!

Great wings and burgers. The beer selection is also very good. Its a clean place to kickback and relax. I’ve done happy hours here a few times, and the specials are real good. The food is flavorful, and the service is prompt. It can get a bit busy during happy hour, so plan accordingly. I’ve been numerous times, and will be back many more.

Good food and good service. Very family friendly. The Reuben is excellent and the curry caper mayo is a must addition for your fries.

The place was cool looking and the service was good. However, we did have to wait nearly an hour for a table when we were quoted a half an hour. The food was good. I enjoyed the mussels and The Hill salad. I think it’s a bit overpriced for what the place is, however.

This place is ok. It’s just average bar food in an upscale building. My husband and I went last Saturday night and had a date night. Our server was attentive and good. We started with shrimp it was just ok the batter tasted like funnel cake. I had the Ruben with sweet potato fries and my husband had the gyro salad both where good, but I really like the gyro salad. I would back, but there definitely are better places to choose from.

The space is really nice. The dining room side is a bit more formal with low tables and booths. The bar side has a good amount of TV’s, however it doesn’t really lose its upscale feel. They have a great beer selection however the beer prices seem steep. My wife odered a ruben with sweet potato fries. Her sandwich was good and the fries were great. I ordered a gyro salad. IMO it had too much dressing… so much that the lettuce was wilted. I don’t think I’d get that dish again. Service was very good. And they seem to have good happy hour specials. One area that needs attention was the silverware. All of the utencils looked dirty. We asked for replacements and those looked the same. They need to soak their utencils because whatever they’re using to clean them leaves them looking stained and gross.

Zarzuela — I asked the waitress if it was authentic. She said it was because the chef was Spanish. Well it had a beautiful presentation although not traditional. It was heavy on the saffron. However, it was full of delicious seafood. Once I put some tomato sauce from the toasted ravioli, it was perfect. Olė!

Stopped in recently for a business lunch, we were seated promptly and the waitress informed us of the daily specials. Service here was fast and friendly and the prices were reasonable. The warm welcoming pub like atmosphere makes for a great place to catch up over a beer or a burger with a friend, while still offering enough TVs to catch whatever event is happening. The food more upscale pub food, and quite enjoyable. I went with one of the daily specials, the Chicken Cordon Blu Sandwich which was served on a pretzel bun. The sandwich was very tasty, the table also ordered fried dill pickles which seemed to go over well. Overall this is a great option for a more casual sit down lunch, dinner, or a good place to catch a beer with a friend. There was also a small outside patio which I am sure is popular when the weather is not too hot.

Went here this weekend for the first time. The food was very good and the prices weren’t bad either. The service was good although we had to wait a little long for our drink orders to be taken. I had the All American burger and fried pickles. The portions were large for the price.

Went for lunch; place was about 40% occupied. Did note from previous reviews that service was a bit slow; it seemed the kitchen service was a little slow for a burger special and a ruben. We had time for this lunch, so we were okay and glad we went as it was close to the office. Ruben was dry as otherwise indicated by others. But the Pittsburg Burger was spot on, multiple layers of flavor and juicy burger tastiness. I’ll go back for more burger and chicken sandwich choices.

I’m happy to Three Kings right off of Manchester. Considering the area and options, this place is easily 4 – 5 stars. Anything within 5 minutes of the West County Mall is seriously a culinary desert. I cam here on a Saturday night during the holidays and it was PACKED. Like, 45 minute wait. I was pretty hangry by the time I got seated but that’s my fault. Should have made a reservation that close to the holidays! I decided to go with one of their burgers and it was amazing. Seriously, one of the better burgers STL has an it was only like $ 12. 3 Kings also has a pretty large selection of local beers on tap, plenty of bar and dining seating areas, and a trendy outdoor patio. I will for sure be back. It’s a great go-to if you’re ever in the area.

Came here with family after an event in the area. We were here on a Tuesday night. I was impressed with how busy it was for a weekday night! We had to wait a little bit since we had a party of ten. The only downside is that there really isn’t a waiting area, so we had to wait in the bar area, and with kids, uh yeah… I really love that when you order tap water, they bring you a glass container for the table. That was really neat. Felt like you were at some super fancy restaurant. One of their specials for the evening was a chicken cordon blue sandwich on a pretzel bun. That was a big hit with the table. Other meals included: flamethrower, «the hill», chicken and dumplings, and pasta with meatballs. Oh yeah, and grilled cheese. The food was good. The service was good. I can see going back here!

My wife and I haven’t really heard of this place but it was close enough to be an experiment. They were packed. But one nice thing is they will take your cell number and text you when your table is ready. You have 10 minutes to return(you reply with a 1 to say you are on your way or a 2 to say to give up your reservation). We hit our 1, left a nearby store and headed over. The place was packed and loud. There were a variety of groups there. It was nice to see families with kids there as well. We got the menu, I ordered a beer while my wife ordered wine. The menu was slightly overwhelming so I struck up a conversation with the couple next to us. This was their 4th time in the place. The staff kept our drinks flowing, both the waters and beer. Our order came out quickly. While my burger was HUGE, delicious, and messy by sweet potato fries were severely lacking. There was no crunch. In fact, they were somewhat flimsy and slightly oil soaked. We will probably go back but change what sides we get AND what time we go. They do not take reservations but don’t let that stop you. I am also anxious to try to work my way through the variety of beers they offer.

Was disappointed with my experience here. It was always busy the couple times I tried going when it was first open. Finally squeezed in for dinner and ordered 2 different specialty types of burgers. They were pretty bland and fries were already getting cold… I wanted to see if they had the cellar list since I heard the Des Peres location might not get it so I asked the waiter and he didn’t know what I was talking about but pretended to… If I go again, I’ll sit at the bar… but otherwise I’ll stick to the Delmar loop location. For food recommendations, ppl like the capn crunch shrimp and flamethrower burger

Three Kings for the win! This is the second location of the Three Kings Pub(other locale is on Delmar). My friends and I have been frequenting this location since they’ve opened due to happy hours! Three Kings has one of the best happy hours anywhere– 50% off taps! WOW. You can really get your value here with this deal because they have an amazing tap beer selection. Three Kings has a great atmosphere, a fun patio, a great bar area, as well as the dining room. They have fantastic food on their menu. I love their nachos!(I have been on a huge nacho kick lately). I am a big fan!

So, first thing is first, I believe that any place that is not a drive-thru type establishment should have classier uniform standards. One of the waitresses was wearing a Victoria’s Secret jacket, couldn’t tell that she was someone that I could seek guidance from… Our particular server was very pleasant, we liked him, he was attentive and not surprisingly apologetic when we found a hair in our Captain Crunch shrimp appetizer. Normally, when I find a hair in my food, standard operating procedure for a woman like myself with a head full of thick long locks, I just assume it is mine… However, this was baked into the breading in the shrimp. Waiter promptly swept it away, took it off the bill and brought me a fresh order. I don’t normally critique the looks of people who work in an establishment but I became immediately acutely aware that all of the women had messy buns or hair haphazardly falling out of a messy ponytail. I’ll also say minor incidents of hairs, happens!!! It doesn’t deter me from going to establishments that I recognize as generally«clean». Plastic… paper…random utensils… bugs…are completely preventable(for those of you who recall my absolutely awful experience at San Jose…) but hairs– not always… That being said, the long haired members of their group need to be told to pay more attention to their hygiene and presentation… Lobster bisque not much to my liking. No chunks of lobster and overly salty. Minus the hair, the captain crunch shrimp was pretty tasty. I got the bacon jam burger, had to pay extra for bacon on the«BACON jam» burger and did not taste, nor did I see(and yes, I pull apart my food to see various components) any of the bacon jam or anything that could even be remotely considered«bacon jam». Beer options are very diverse and plentiful. The Big Wave is one of my new favorite Hawaiian beers. Ultimately, I think I will give it one more shot… There are other menu items that intrigued me that in the very least I would like to try even if I have to try them at the Delmar location. But that’s it… One more attempt and I’ll update at that point.

They’re doing good things at the new Three Kings. The interior is really beautiful. I like the wood walls and exposed pipes as shelves. The mural of the kings is just like the other location’s. The bar looked really nice with a huge window behind it which peeks through to the patio. Of course, the beer selection is stellar. For lunch we had the house chips with Irish cheddar rarebit… It may be the main reason I go to gastro pubs. This cheese dip is super delicious & if you haven’t yet tried it, I highly recommend to do so. My date had the fried fish sandwich & I the fried chicken sandwich. We both opted for the side salad in lieu of fries or veggies. Side salad had mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, croutons, red onion & a cucumber slice & was fresh & delicious. My sandwich was good. Fried chicken breast tossed in Buffalo sauce with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion & pickle.

4 star because they just opened & are working through the normal adjustment period.(Namely the servers & computer system) Beautiful pub environment, interesting timber wall patio, broad selection on tap & friendly energetic staff all give me hope for a the new place. I stopped in for a quick beer & some pics. My Green Flash West Coast double IPA was served fast & in the correct IPA style glass. Paying for it took 3x to 4x as long as getting the beer. This happened again to the next guy.(The place is new so I understand & fully expect with familiarity will come speed.)
