Specialties
The White Rabbit is a vintage inspired boutique that is full of shabby chic and french furniture, gifts and accessories. Our most popular specialty, by far, is our painted vintage furniture. We love to take old furniture and give it a fresh, new look with paint. We sell pretty white desks and beds for girls rooms, beautiful shabby tables for the kitchen, old buffets and mirrors for the dining room and so much more.
We carry fabulous, one of a kind baby gifts and lots of creations by local artists including Knollwood Lane, Diane Martin Frames, and Old Barn Rescue signs made from barnwood and old windows. We also create unique items like vintage frames made into chalkboards and memo boards.
The store gets completely decked out for the holidays with goodies from designers like Cody Foster, Wendy Addison, Bethany Lowe, and Nicole Sayre.
History
Established in 2002.
The White Rabbit was founded by mother daughter team, Angie and Lindsay. The St. Louis boutique is filled with vintage and vintage inspired finds for enthusiasts of all ages. 2008 was a tough year for the duo, battling breast cancer and then losing the store to a flood, but they prevailed and are stronger than ever. «We could not have started over without the support and encouragement of the community. St. Louis is home to a lot of truly caring, enthusiastic women who have made owning a store fun and rewarding for both of us», Angie and Lindsay tell their customers.
Always hunting for the best in shabby, cottage, and garden goodies, Angie is at the heart of the merchandise in the store. She battled with breast cancer in 2008 and is now cancer free.
Her daughter, Lindsay, who graduated with degrees in psychology and sociology, discovered a passion for the business side of things and decided to join her mom in the retail adventure.
