Went to Café Soul at The Loft…
First, it was a $ 20 cover charge (I want my money back).
Second, only 3 people could actually sing. The Sax guy was good. One guy «talked» the song.
Third, people were jumping on and off stage as random background singers, just to be seen when their «jam» was being sung. The only people not taking the stage was me & my group.
Last, people were leaving after their friends/​relatives sang.
Home talent shows are typically free.

The food was great. I love the Dj. It can get a little too crowded at times but over all it is a good place to party when you wanna hang out.

Eh. I wasn’t impressed. Not only is there a cover ($ 10 last time I was there), the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired, and the drinks are ridiculously expensive.
The music was okay, but I can think of better clubs to spend a Friday night at.

Too much foolishness goes on here. I always no its a bad sign of a club if they pat you down before you walk in. I couldnt even get in the door before a fight broke out. Maybe its fun once you get inside but I have no time for idiots. There is always fights and dummies trying to prove themselves here.
So for me its a no go.
