History

Established in 2004.

The Initial Design was started by 4 local women who saw a need for a high quality monogram gift store in the heart of Old Webster Groves. Over the years, they’ve evolved into an award winning monogram shop with wonderful service, very skilled monogrammers and a wide variety of gifts for brides, babies and girlfriends. Word of mouth and the excitement of seeing beautifully wrapped gifts from The Initial Design has spread the word across the country. This unique boutique has turned monogramed gift shopping into an easy and enjoyable experience and they’re happy to monogram your own items too.
