Established in 1993.

The Carnes Law Firm has represented individuals and small businesses with legal matters in the metropolitan St. Louis area for over 20 years. We represent clients with all types of litigation — personal injury actions, criminal defense matters, civil litigation, domestic relations (family law) cases, and immigration cases (family based cases and removal defense cases.)

We are licensed in all state courts in Missouri and Illinois, and federal courts in Missouri, Southern Illinois, the 7^th and 8^th Circuit Courts of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

We also represent small businesses — and people who wish to form small businesses — from incorporation, to drafting bylaws and operating agreements, to assisting with purchases and sales of businesses.

Thomas R. Carnes, the owner of the Carnes Law Firm, has been practicing law in Missouri and Illinois for over 20 years. He has also been admitted to practice law in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, the Southern and Central Districts of Illinois, the United States Courts of Appeals for the 7^th and 8^th Circuits, the United States Immigration Court, the United States Tax Court, and the United States Supreme Court.
