Summit Produce is a four season open air market specializing in fresh and local produce, plants, pumpkins and Christmas Trees.

Summit Produce partners with close to 30 Missouri and Illinois farmers to bring their customers only the best of the Mid West!

Open seven days a week April through Christmas Eve, Summit is all about bringing the best of any product we offer including, at no charge, old fashioned service with a smile.

History

Established in 1978.

In 1978 Carol Mitchell began operating her first produce stand in her small town of Pacific, MO. She expanded to opening a small stall at the Kirkwood Farmers market a couple of years later. Long story short, she became a success in a tough business. Over the years Summit has grown from a small produce stand open just a few days a week, to a four season operation open every day April through Christmas Eve. The daily product line has greatly expanded to include local meat, eggs, Amish cheeses and locally baked goodies and more. Two of Carols kids Dan Mitchell and Kris Clark now partner in the business and, like Mom taught them, always strive to keep the products offered and customer service at an A+ standard.

Business Owner

Dan Mitchell and Kris Clark are the sibling team partnering in Summit Produce. Tweens when their mom started the business, they have been raised with the «old school» business standards their mother demonstrated. Excellence in customer service, honesty and offering the best products available every day are their continued motto.

They enjoy the fast pace of the business they have grown up with and look forward to continuing to serve the community.
