I want to acknowledge Jaclyn and her team at STLooks for a job well done. Jaclyn was my point of contact for my January 2015 wedding and if you are seeking a hair and make-​up team for your wedding day, I wouldn’t look any further than STLooks. When I got engaged, I didn’t really know where to start when it came to securing a hair and make-​up team. I knew some girls in STL that do hair, however I knew I wanted to go with someone reputable that I didn’t necessarily know because I know if I was friends with the person I chose, I’d have a harder time speaking up about the look if I wasn’t crazy about it. After doing some research on The Knot and Unilocal,I found STLooks. The reviews I read were right… Jaclyn was very responsive and what impressed me as well were her rates. I have been in a couple weddings for friends and I found Jaclyn’s rates to be very fair — not too high, not too low. I was amazed when I checked with other vendors in my search at how much they charged for these types of services! While I planned on looking my best on my wedding day, I also wasn’t planning on breaking the bank to do so. STLooks was the perfect solution and I never felt any pressure to go beyond what I needed. They came to us on the day of and were very patient with each of the girls. Also since I am incredibly fickle, I met with Jaclyn twice prior to the wedding to do two separate trials. She was always very professional, patient and happy to accommodate!

I came here with a Living Social deal for a Brazilian. I wasn’t overly impressed. My appointment was for 3:30pm and I wasn’t taken back for about 10 – 12 minutes. Once I was in the room I was left in there for about 7 minutes to change, it doesn’t take 7 minutes to change and I thought I was left.
Jacqulyn is really sweet and was professional about the wax. She used a combo of soft and hard wax, which is different from one of the reviews I read on here said that she only used hard wax. I was disappointed that she used a combo and would much rather prefer hard wax. Overall, the service was not great, but the actual waxing was fine once it was done.
I probably wouldn’t come back here unless I had a deal like the one I did.

I cannot say enough positive things about Jaclyn and her team! My wedding was May 18, 2013 and she did an incredible job with all of our make-up.airbrush is amazing… I promise you will not be disappointed! Kate did my hair and I had so many comments on it :) The salon is beyond cute and absolutely perfect for a girls day. Jaclyn even had muffins and mimosas to treat us. One of my bridesmaids has already booked STLooks for her wedding in April 2014 because she was so good. Jaclyn responded to every single email within 24 hours, sent reminder messages, and we were ahead of schedule on the wedding day… customer service is unmatchable! Thank you again Jaclyn for such a wonderful experience, you really added to the success of my wedding day!

I recently had a wedding in St. Louis on Feb 16 2013. I contacted 20 different hair and makeup artist recommended by the Knot. Jaclyn was the first stylist to get back to me and was very upfront with all her info and pricing. She didn’t charge traveling fees to come do our makeup and hair at the hotel on the day of the wedding! Throughout the whole process she was very quick on getting back to me with emails which is always appreciated when planning a wedding. On the day of the wedding, Jaclyn and her team listened to everything we wanted done and did an outstanding job! I got the airbrush makeup which looks absolutely flawlessI Jaclyn even let me keep the lipstick she put on me in case I needed touchups later throughout the day. I will always recommended this business to anyone planning a wedding or event where they need hair and makeup done.

I really liked the service, I went for brazilian wax, Jaclyn was very professional and she knows what she is doing.

I am from St. Louis, but have lived all over the world, including in Brazil. Needless to say, I am a bit picky about my Brazilian wax, specifically, about having an esthetician who is trained in using hard wax. I searched high and low for a salon in St. Louis that uses hard wax and is not booked a month in advance. I called Jaclyn and not only did they have the hard wax, but she was able to fit me in the following day!
Jaclyn did my wax and she clearly knew her stuff. She wore gloves, it was fast, hygienic, and virtually pain free. She knew to press down on the skin after she pulled the wax, which makes it much less painful.
I would highly recommend Jaclyn.
