Stallone’s Formal Wear

I used Stallones Formal Wear for my wedding reception in May. I had a less than desireable outcome from Men’s Wearhouse in Florissant earlier so I wanted to try someplace different.
I was very pleased with my decision.
They had a wide variety of styles to choose from and the sales person was very knowledgeable about the pros and cons of each.
I settled on a style and after the measurements were taken they arranged to have it delivered to their Maryland Heights location for my convenience. I was a little worried that I would be picking my tux up from a different person than who I had rented it from but I shouldn’t have worried, it fit and looked great.
They may be a little pricier than other rental places, but in my mind they were worth it.

The only place that the men in my family rent formal wear. Great looking, lots of choices, reasonable prices, terrific service.

I’ve had great luck each time renting from Stallone’s… Weddings or formal events. They are the best in town for formal Balls (e.g. V.P. or Fleur de lis) and have a wide selection of wedding formals. The quality of their suits is much superior to competitors for a similar price. Location is very convenient and they know what they are doing here.

— If only one person is working, you may be faced with a wait
MUCH preferred over Savvi or other cheap mall rentals.

Stallone’s did an amazing job with my wedding. We had several out of town guests (I live in Los Angeles, while my wife’s family is in St. Louis) coming from all over the place — LA, Florida, Boston, Chicago — and they were able to wrangle all the orders and have all our tuxes ready and waiting to go. And we looked awesome.
But the customer service is where Stallone’s really shines. My three-​year-​old nephew was playing around with a display while we were trying our tuxes on to make sure they fit. We told him he was going to break something, and he did — glass all over the place! But Mr. Stallone was super-​nice about it and reassured him so he stopped crying while one of the other employees cleaned everything up. I tried to pay for the display, but they wouldn’t let me.
The other thing was that I’d lost a ton of weight between sending in my measurements and the actual wedding (gotta look good for those wedding pictures) So much so that the white dinner jacket I’d special ordered was way loose on my frame when I tried it on. Mr. Stallone told me to come back later that evening. The jacket fit like a glove — well, like a jacket, anyway.
Good prices, great customer service, and a business that’s been around for over a hundred years. What’s not to love?

We tried to use Stallone’s for our wedding party and had horrible customer service both times we visited the store. The first associate was not knowledgeable about the products and options and during the second visit we waited for a half hour without ever being acknowledged by the sales associate. I understand he was the only person working and there was ONE other customer… but we didn’t even get a «hello» or «be right with you». We have 17 people getting tuxes and many are coming in from out of town, and there is no way we are going to make them deal with that type of service.
