This is a nice, quiet little branch. They don’t have the automatic checkout machines like the Schlafly branch, but I’m not complaining. You get to interact with the very nice staff. They also have a large collection of other media, especially CDs. Fun fact: you can return St Louis Public Library books to ANY branch, regardless of where you checked them out!

Stopped in here for the first time over the weekend to check my email really quick before continuing on my errands. It’s one of the nicer libraries, although it is a bit small. If you really want to read how much I rhapsodize about the library, you can check out my Central Branch review. The St. Louis library system is really awesome, in my opinion. Regarding this location, though. Pros: Friendly staff Lots of seating at tables Pretty good noise control Not many patrons Has a parking lot, but it is very small Cons: Very limited hours: M 9 – 6, T-Th 12 to 7, F 11 – 6, Sat 9 – 6, Sun closed. Only about 10 computers for public use. Call ahead. Xerox machines are 15 cents/copy.
