Where Leadership and Academics Meet!
Rohan Woods School, Where Leadership and Academics Meet, has been educating tomorrow’s leaders for over 75 years with a challenging curriculum that emphasizes personal responsibility and respect for all individuals in a safe and supportive environment.
Known for its award-winning leadership and service learning programs, which begins with the youngest students, Rohan Woods is purposefully small as a result of more than 40 years of national research that shows small schools get BIG results. Small group and multi-age group activities create a strongly meshed community reflective of the family feeling that is an integral part of Rohan Woods. To ensure small group learning and personalized attention, enrollment is limited to an overall 8:1 student-teacher ratio.
History
Established in 1937.
Established in 1937 in St Louis County, the school purchased the property in Warson Woods, MO, in 1984. In 1987, Rohan Woods School added a Science Lab, Art Room and Gymnasium to the school. The School is mission driven to be small — one class per age or grade level — based on the research that small schools have BIG results.
