We specialize in great food and drink recipes for very low prices, counting on repeat business rather than high profit margins. Our military themed BBQ menu is fantastic, and we run specials weekly (as well as our regular daily specials).

History

Established in 2011.

Rafael Hernandez and his brother Joel have attempted to open a restaurant/​bar twice before… Unfortunately, their duties as members of the United States Armed Forces took priority when they were deployed just after launch of both previous ventures. They are no longer deployable by the military, and have jumped back into starting a business with everything they’ve got. Shortly after finding a location, Rafael contacted Sherwood McGowan, a fellow veteran, to transform the building into a workable location that met the brothers’ vision for a pub that is warm and inviting, and that displays the proud tradition of our nation’s warriors.

A veteran of both the US Marine Corps and the US Army Reserve, Rafael is no stranger to hard work. In addition to his military service, he has also earned a reputation for being quite skilled in the business of turning bars around, improving both their reputation and their business practices in order to turn a failing bar into a thriving one.
