Dr. Massie, Dr. Cuff, and Dr. Dreyer offer treatment of many eye conditions, including red eyes, dry eyes, pink eye and eye infection to the St. Louis Metro area and also to the areas of Swansea, Fairview Heights, O’Fallon and Belleville. Performance Eyecare also provides hi-​tech eye exams, children’s eye exams, LASIK co-​management, quality eyeglasses, contact lenses, and emergency eye care.

Performance Eyecare also offers designer frames of the highest quality and also affordable name brands such as: Lafont, Oliver Peoples, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Tom Davies, Tom Ford, Maui Jim, OGI, and many others.

We are excited to announce that Pete Pellegrine, owner of the Creve Coeur Pearle Vision, has officially retired! Dr. Susan Dreyer, who has worked at Pearle Vision in Creve Coeur for over 12 years, continues to provide thorough and compassionate eye care to our patients at the same location on Olive Blvd. Our newly remodeled office is now called Performance Eyecare and we are sure you will be pleased with the changes. Under the new ownership, you can expect an increased level of customer service by competent & caring staff (whom do not work on commission), evening & Saturday hours, and we have an expanded selection of eyeglasses and sunglasses.

Business Owner

Dr. Dirk Massie attended the University of Illinois where he graduated with honors while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology (Sports Medicine). He then attended 4 years of Optometry School at the University of Missouri. While in Optometry school, he worked at one of the largest private practices in the country where the eye doctors were also the team eye doctors for the St. Louis Rams, St. Louis Blues, and University of Missouri athletes.

Dr. Massie specializes in contact lenses and sports vision. He has been specially-​trained and certified to fit the most complex contact lenses. He routinely prescribes contact lenses for patients with astigmatism, eye disorders/​diseases, bifocals, and even vision shaping contact lenses that provide non-​surgical vision correction. Dr. Massie also practices full scope eye care, including LASIK surgery care, and has the authority to write prescription medicines for conditions such as glaucoma, dry eyes, and allergies.
