History
Established in 2000.
My first tutoring client was during the summer of 2000. I was a 3rd grade teacher, and she was going to be in my class the next school year. Once I started tutoring her, I began to tutor other students at my school. I worked with kids during the school year and the summer for the next 12 years. In 2012, I relocated back to my hometown, and decided to leave the classroom in order to begin tutoring full-time.
Meet the Business Owner
Randy S.
Business Owner
Randy is a credentialed educator with over 19 years of classroom experience in various subjects and grades. He started his tutoring business in Los Angeles, California in June 2000 due to the demand by his students and their parents. While in Los Angeles, he also coached football for Santa Monica Vikings Youth Football (AYF). Randy returned to his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri in March 2012. Because he had enjoyed working one-on-one, he decided to make tutoring his full-time business. In order to not completely leave the classroom and a group setting, he occasionally substitutes at Forsyth School in Clayton, Missouri and coaches high school football and 8th grade girls basketball at MICDS.
Randy is a graduate of St. Louis Country Day School (1986). He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Duke University (1990) while being a full scholarship athlete on Duke’s football team from 1986 – 1989 (1989 ACC Champions).
