PLEASE READ BEFORE U BOOK SURGERY– I rarely take time to write negative reviews about any business or service I’ve received, but I feel a strong obligation to warn others about my personal experience. Almost 10 years ago… at age 18, I underwent a routine breast augmentation (sub-​muscular & saline). Dr. Rottler suggested a D cup (550cc’s) for my naturally A cup breasts. Originally, I was wanting a C cup but he explained that many patients often regret not going bigger, so I went with his suggestion and agreed to a D cup. He explained it would fit my body nicely, so I trusted the «expert.» The surgery went well and I was just excited I had a boob job at age 18!
After about a year or so I started to realize that my implants were rippling slightly on the sides when I moved certain ways and that my nipple sat VERY high in comparison to the placement of my implants. This made it difficult to wear any bra, swimsuit, strapless shirts, dresses, or really anything that I would want to wear to show off my new implants. Then, I began experiencing a lot of sharp pains near one side by the implant… which I later found out was where a nerve was located and that it was possibly being pushed from such a large implant. This nerve was aggravated badly anytime I touched the area or didn’t wear a bra even for a very short period of time.
I returned to his office to explain these concerns and discuss any possible solutions. His recommendation… GET EVEN LARGER IMPLANTS! He told me larger implants would create more volume above the nipple. He also offered to give me a great «discount» for the redo. Needless to say, I left his office and never looked back! I’m no expert but I knew larger wasn’t the answer.
Since then… I have lived in Dallas and Chicago and I have visited many surgeons searching for a solution to fix my breasts. Sometimes I cried out of frustration and regret bc I couldn’t believe what a mess I got myself into. I felt like I was mutilated and would never look or feel normal again. Most surgeons I consulted with believed my original doc had over dissected the pockets he created to place my original implants into and that they were far too large for my body, creating a plethora of issues that now needed correcting.
UPDATE 2015– I could no longer live with the large, painful, awkward, and embarrassing breast implants. So I went in search of the best doctors in the country to fix what Dr. Rottler had done. I went to the best surgeons in Chicago and Beverly Hills to find an expert that could suggest a solution. I heard everything from a breast lift, lollipop scars, WIRE mesh being inserted inside me, downsizing, complete removal with lift, moving my nipple, suturing the inside pocket from the bottom to lift my implant up. All of the options came with many serious risks, lots of scars, and zero guarantees for a positive outcome. Not to mention, it was going to cost $ 15-​$ 20k for the revision! According to most docs, my breasts were so severely bottomed out that I needed major internal reconstruction to fix things. So I decided to get serious and flew to Beverly Hills to consult with the best doctors in the country. I have spent thousands in consult fees over the years but was too scared to make another mistake. QUICK TIP… top surgeons don’t usually have free consults. In my experience, a consult to see any top notch surgeon costs $ 100 – 500 and weeks/​months to get an appointment. You really do get what you pay for!
While visiting Beverly Hills I found one of the best doctors in the country… Dr. Lisa Casselith, she was truly one of the best things that has ever happened to me! She recognized all of my issues, her staff was amazing, and I scheduled surgery immediately. I’ll review her separately, but I will tell u this, to fix my boobs ended up costing around $ 17k and it took over four hours in the operating room to completely reconstruct my internal pockets and create an internal bra out of an «absorbable» mesh. Such a sincere and knowledgable staff! This post is not intended to hurt Dr. Rottler or his business. It’s to warn others to do their research and think very hard about having any major surgery. I suggest getting many opinions, pay the extra $ for good consultations, and if you have naturally beautiful but small breasts… leave them alone bc being naturally small is so much more beautiful than large fake and potentially botched implants. I would love to go back to my natural breasts but I went far too large to reverse things without having to a lot of extra stretched skin removed and a ton of scars.
I really hope this post helps even one person think a little longer or maybe get a few more opinions or even think twice about going through with such an unnecessary operation. I had my new surgeon save my old implants and they turned out to be almost 600cc’s! Best of luck to all those considering any surgery of any kind!

For me, deciding to undergo any surgery procedure, let alone one that is completely by choice is a tremendously big deal. It is very important to choose the right surgeon for a cosmetic surgery procedure 1) because you are paying a lot of money for whatever procedure you are going to have, 2) you are going to live with it for mostly your entire life. Of course you can also get them redone, fixed, etc but all that will cost you money, more time in recovery, and all sorts of unwanted hassles. When I was first thinking of getting a procedure done, I was really afraid of getting a horrible outcome and regretting it but I called Dr. Rottler’s office and the person who answered the phone was really warm and friendly. That was a plus since I have called several other offices that day with snobby answers to my legitimate concerns. In addition to that, they were able to get me in for a free consultation two days after I called!
Now to the consultation. Dr. Rottler took his time explaining the process even though I had to initially watch a video explaining the process, risks, benefits, etc beforehand. He was very thorough with answering my concerns no matter how silly they seemed to have been. For a person who has never had any kind of surgery, he made me feel comfortable about it. He was never pushy about making a decision, he showed me some options and gave me his opinion after evaluations and I did not feel rushed during the consult. That was when I decided I did not need to see other surgeons for a consultation, that Dr. Rottler was going to be my surgeon.
One of the best things about going with Dr. Rottler for a surgeon is the fact that you do not have to go to any hospitals on the day of your procedure. Next to his office is his surgical facility and it is clean, comfortable, and great! Some of the staff you meet during the consult visit/​pre-​op visit are also there which is nice because if you are like me, I always have a little awkward moment when I meet new people so already being familiar with the staff helped a lot! The evening of my surgery, he called and made sure everything is going well. He is always there to answer any questions or concerns and he actually will give you his personal cell phone number and he does answer. I had some concerns being an inexperienced person with any type of surgery and he answered right away even though I called around dinner time (I didn’t mean to but I was really worried!). Additionally, he does check-​ups at a regular interval, starting with fairly frequent visits to a month then 4 months and during my last visit (I am at 4 months since surgery), he mentioned coming back around the anniversary of my surgery and then once a year after that.
Overall, I am very happy with my results. Dr. Rottler did a terrific job and I do not regret having the procedure done! I highly recommend Dr. Rottler.

I can not say enough about Dr. Rottler and his staff. Amazing people. They made my experience with them easy and I would say that if you were considering any kind of plastic surgery that you give Dr. Rottler a call. I would recommend him to anyone.
