The guy who answered the phone was with out a doubt the biggest jerk I have ever talked to on the phone. I would not spend any money with these folks.

Walking into Movies Unlimited is just like walking into the video store of my childhood in the middle of nowhere in Nebraska. Nostalgia is pretty much the only reason for the fourth star, unfortunately. The place is way old-school, but I love it. Tiny storefront, roughly a quarter of which is devoted to the adult section, which is only barely partitioned from the rest of the room. They seem to be taking a very long time to upgrade to DVD: the VHS tapes in their collection outnumber the DVDs by far. This is okay, though, because you know there are still those analog diehards out there, and they’ve got to get their tapes somewhere. The selection isn’t that great, though. The service is very friendly and feels familiar. Once upon a time, you could return your video through the mail slot in the door, but the last time I tried to do so, they had closed it off. This wouldn’t be a problem if they stayed open later than 9pm. It’s a cute dump of a place and a throwback to 1989, but I really wouldn’t bother if it weren’t a block from home.
